I’ve been caring for pets for over 12 years and currently have four of my own.. a Golden Retriever, a Maltese, and two cats. My oldest has been with me since 2013, so caring for animals has been a big part of my everyday life for many years. Having both dogs and cats has given me experience with different personalities, sizes, energy levels, and routines. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime and of course lots of attention and affection. I’ve also been a Rover customer for a while now whenever I travel, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pets. I know how reassuring regular updates and photos can be, and I want every pet parent to feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and being cared for like they were my own.

During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pets get plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I’m happy to take dogs for walks, play with them in a securely fenced backyard if available, or spend time indoors playing and keeping them company. I’ll also take care of feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter boxes, and any other parts of their normal routine. I’ll always follow your instructions and your pet’s preferences, whether they’re full of energy and ready to play or just want some cuddles and companionship. And of course, I’ll send photos and updates so you know your pets are happy and well cared for!

Lara is one of the biggest animal lovers I know. She has years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and it really shows in how comfortable she is around them. She’s loving, trustworthy, and very attentive to the little things, whether that’s making sure they’ve eaten, getting in some playtime, going for a walk, or just giving them extra love while their family is away. I would trust her with my pets without hesitation!
I couldn’t recommend Lara enough! She has such a natural way with animals and treats every pet like they’re her own. Lara and Jason were absolutely wonderful with Gigi! I have a very high-energy Australian Shepherd, and they handled her with so much love, patience, and care. They have their own furry family, and Gigi got along with them incredibly well, which made me feel even more comfortable leaving her in their care. They are such a clean, caring, and loving family, and they truly treated Gigi as if she were their own. It was clear from the beginning that she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I highly recommend Lara and Jason to anyone looking for someone they can completely trust with their fur babies. I wouldn’t think twice about leaving Gigi with them again if the need ever arises!

Schedule
I work remotely from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the day. I’m able to easily accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of attention. Since my schedule is flexible, I can adjust to each pet’s normal routine and make sure they get the care and companionship they’re used to while their family is away.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know anything that will help me make them feel as comfortable and safe as possible. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, health concerns, dietary restrictions, behavioral quirks, fears or triggers, and any special routines they’re used to. I’d also love to know their favorite treats, toys, activities, and anything else that makes them happy! The more I know about your pet and their personality, the better I can care for them and make their time with me feel familiar and stress-free.
