Your dogs new BFF
I grew up with dogs and all my close relatives have them. From smaller chihuahuas to living with a husky, I love all dogs! Dogs are like humans to me and since I don’t have my own right now, I miss getting to care for and have the canine company of furry friends!

Lara was wonderful in all aspects, from negotiating pick up and drop off to keeping me updated on how he was doing to being communicative and prompt in texting. Highly recommend! I think he loved her too!
Lara is the absolute best! Our dog, Bam, gets so excited when he sees her! She takes great care of him, and she’s super easy to coordinate with. This is our go-to sitter in DC!

Lara was so caring for our dog, Alabama. Alabama is an older Greyhound with some health issues. Lara was very accommodating for him, putting his boots on for his walk and giving him lots of rest.
Lara was amazing! This was my first time booking a dog sitter in DC, so I was initially nervous. Lara immediately put my mind at ease with pics/updates shortly after I dropped off and sent them regularly throughout the remainder of my time away. My pups were happy, healthy, and tired from all the fun they had when I picked them up. I’d definitely rebook with Lara and would recommend her services to anyone else.

I work hybrid during the week. I live alone in a spacious one bedroom apartment in a pet friendly complex. There are lots of pets and pet owners around my neighborhood with a lot of dog parks and trails!

I’m a very attentive caretaker. I don’t make plans or want to leave a dog alone if I am taking care of them. I have a pretty active lifestyle and want a dog I’m caring for to have a lot of engagement and activity during the day! I love dogs that like to be close, yes they can sleep in my bed, if they are shy and want to be alone or attached attention lovers, I’ll provide whatever type of care your dog prefers.

I think dogs need a lot of engagement. If they are social and like to be around other dogs, I can take them to friendly dog parks in the area. If they like to be alone more, we’ll do a lot of solo walks and if it’s too cold or they are tired, we can play with toys inside!
