Bonjour, hello! I’m Lara. I’m an animal lover and I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! J’ai un niveau intermédiaire du français, je suis donc heureuse de communiquer en français également 😊 I've been brought up in a home with animals from a very young age, and I have many years of experience caring for cats and dogs as an adult. Having regularly looked after friends' and families' pets over the years, as well as fostering cats for an animal protection charity, I’ve gained valuable experience in pet care. I spend time understanding the specific needs of each individual animal, reporting any changes in behaviour, and ensuring their wellbeing - all while ensuring they’re getting plenty of love and attention.

Lara did a such wonderful job looking after my two cats! She sent me some of the best pictures I’ve seen of them and it was so nice seeing them so happy while I was away. Lara also made sure my apartment was kept tidy and accommodated all of my requests. Thank you for your hard work Lara! 🐈⬛🐈
Lara was an exceptional sitter! While I was away, she sent me photos every day of Socks happily curled up on her lap, and it was clear he felt safe, loved, and completely at ease with her. Lara stayed at my home for three weeks, and when I returned, everything was spotless. She had even changed the bed sheets and taken wonderful care of both my home and my cat. She is kind, thoughtful, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I recommend her without hesitation! Lara a été une gardienne exceptionnelle ! Pendant tout mon séjour à l'extérieur, elle m'a envoyé des photos chaque jour où l'on voyait Socks bien installé sur ses genoux, tout blotti contre elle. C'était évident qu'il était heureux, en confiance et entouré d'affection. Lara est restée chez moi pendant trois semaines, et à mon retour, la maison était impeccable. Elle avait même changé les draps et pris grand soin de tout. C'est une personne douce, attentionnée et qui aime sincèrement les animaux. Je la recommande sans la moindre hésitation !
Lara is absolutely amazing! She took care of my three cats for seven days, and they became so comfortable with her. This was the first time in 10 years that we left our cats with someone else while we traveled, they had always come with us before, so we were naturally a bit nervous. Lara handled each of their very different personalities perfectly. She even managed to include my shyest and most reserved cat during mealtimes and made sure all three got plenty of playtime and attention. Every day she sent us detailed updates with photos and let us know how each of the cats was doing, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was always punctual, responded to messages very quickly, and paid attention to every little detail. She kept everything clean and organized for the cats and treated them with genuine love and care. It was clear that she truly cared about their well-being. I felt completely comfortable trusting Lara with my cats, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. I would happily book her again without hesitation!

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your animals! I can be flexible to suit your schedule - feel free to get in touch to discuss how/when I can help.

Safety, trust & environment
I pay careful attention to the behaviour and needs of animals in my care at all times, ensuring that they are safe, secure and well looked after. I spend plenty of time playing, exercising, and walking them, making sure they have loads of attention and love!
A typical day
I’ll take your dog to the local parks in the area for a long walk, playing games along the way, discovering new smells and getting plenty of fresh air. When looking after cats, I ensure they are physically stimulated with toys, games and treats, as well as having downtime.
