I've lived with dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a house full of wagging tails, muddy paws, and dog beds in every room, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I started looking after neighbors' and friends' pets as a kid, and it didn't take long for people to realize I treat every animal like my own. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of every personality: shy rescues who need time to warm up, older dogs who move slower and need a gentler touch, and high-energy pups who just want to play until they're worn out. I pay close attention to each dog's comfort level, and I never rush that process. Whether your dog needs quiet reassurance or an outlet for their energy, I adjust to what they need, not the other way around. While your pet is with me, they'll get plenty of one-on-one attention, a consistent routine, and lots of affection. I also send regular updates and photos, because I know how much peace of mind that gives you while you're away. Your pet will get attention, structure, affection, and lots of communication and photo updates from me. I know how important peace of mind is, and I take that seriously.

I care for dogs in my home in Astoria, where they get a calm, cozy environment and plenty of affection. I keep a soft, relaxed home with space to lounge, play, and rest — never a chaotic, overbooked setting. I follow your dog’s routines closely (mealtimes, walks, training cues, and any house rules you have), so they feel secure and understood while you’re away.

L is super super caring and affectionate with Chicha. I only do I get lots of photos of Chica playing and getting loved on all day, but also on a nice long walks, and time at the dog park with her friends. I trust L as much as any other my friends or family with the care of Chicha
We have known L for a few years now, and she has taken care of our girl Bean a handful of times. She and Aster get along really well, play really well indoors, and L also takes them on long walks during the day. She knows our girl's temperament, and will avoid the dog park when she feels it may be a bit much for our pup, and sends us plenty of photos and videos throughout the day so we can check in. We never have to worry when Bean is with her because she is loved on so much at her home!
Lara has cared for my dog, Ruby, on many occasions, and Ruby absolutely adores her. She’s incredibly patient, kind, and attentive with Ruby and every dog she looks after. Lara has a genuine compassion for animals and a ton of experience with dogs of all types and temperaments. She’s also very conscientious about safety and goes above and beyond to make sure each dog feels secure and loved. Every time we walk by Lara’s home, Ruby pulls to go in, which says everything about how happy and comfortable she feels in Lara’s care!

I work flexibly and am generally available most days and times, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Whether you need a consistent daily routine or something more custom week to week, I'm happy to work around what fits your dog best.
