Sunny is a true dog whisperer.  All dog temperaments respond to her gentleness, kindness, and compassion.  I trust Sunny with our little golden doodle, Lexie. After our beloved black lab, Miko, passed away, Lexie needed dog companionship; Sunny’s class was recommended. Sunny’s kindness has been perfect for us.  Lexie loves Sunny and gets so excited to see her and train! Sunny helps Lexie feel confidant, and Sunny always makes classes fun for the pups! Lara "Sunny" is an amazing dog trainer who helped our shy and nervous little puppy, Poppy, feel safe and confident. Poppy usually gets scared around new people, but she warmed up to Sunny right away. Sunny used a soft and patient approach that helped nervous puppies feel calm. Poppy learned the basic rules quickly and loves to perform for treats. Poppy gets super happy when she sees Sunny and still looks all over for her at the store. Sunny even helped us humans know how to help our sweet little new puppy. We felt comfortable and confident in her abilities. You can tell she respects the handler as well as the pup. We are so thankful for Sunny. She is wonderful at what she does, and we strongly recommend her to anyone with a shy dog.

Working with Sunny has been an incredible experience! Sparky started with her as a puppy and has now successfully graduated through three of her classes. Sunny is remarkably patient and knowledgeable—she taught me so much about training, and even took the time to educate me on the best food and treats for Sparky. Even outside of class, whenever we’d walk into the store, she always made a point to come over and say hi to him. She truly goes above and beyond, and turned puppy chaos into a well-mannered, confident dog. I can't recommend her enough!

Ms. Sunny is the kind of teacher and trainer who truly loves what she does, and it shows in everything she does! Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of taking obedience classes with her and watching my dog, Ruby, flourish and gain so much confidence along the way. What makes Ms. Sunny so special is the patience, kindness, and genuine care she gives to every dog she works with. She takes the time to build trust and confidence while recognizing that every dog has their own personality, needs, and behaviors. She never makes you feel rushed or discouraged and offers endless support, encouragement, guidance, and, of course, plenty of treats! Her classes are always fun and exciting, but they are also incredibly valuable. She has given me the tools to better understand and communicate with Ruby, and the progress I’ve seen in her has been amazing. You can tell Ms. Sunny isn’t simply teaching commands—she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their people build stronger, happier relationships. She is, without a doubt, the absolute best trainer I have ever worked with. I recommend her so often that practically everyone I know with a dog has heard about the wonderful Ms. Sunny and the amazing teacher Ruby had! To know Ms. Sunny is to love her, and Ruby and I absolutely adore her. We are so grateful for all of the patience, love, encouragement, and hard work she has given us this past year.
