Caring for fur-babies like family!
I’ve been fortunate to have furry family members by my side my entire life and can’t imagine living without one. Currently, I share my home with my 7-year-old Cocker Spaniel, and together, we love playing toys, spending time on the couch, walking the golf course, hiking the mountains, relaxing on our gated deck, or curled up together in bed. We would be thrilled to welcome your pet into our home, where they’ll be treated like family. With experience raising puppies and caring for senior dogs, I have a deep understanding of their needs at every stage of life. I have administered medication, cleaned ears & sensitive areas, removed catheters, changed dressings, bathed dogs with hot spots, carried seniors up and down stairs, etc. I'd be happy to discuss your dog's unique requirements and how I can help meet them. As a passionate animal advocate, I dedicate part of my year to dog rescue efforts in Punta Cana— volunteering at spay/neuter clinics, assisting with post-surgery care, and helping street and beach dogs in need of support and attention. I have also volunteered with World Vets. Having semi-retired from a demanding career, I now work remotely part-time, which allows me to fully embrace my passion for dogs while enjoying the breathtaking outdoors of Mont-Tremblant. The fresh air, the trails, and the natural beauty here are the perfect backdrop for my life with dogs.

My home is located on a beautiful golf course, offering peaceful walks during off-hours, a spacious backyard perfect for playing ball (on a long leash), and a gated deck where dogs can roam freely. Since dogs are considered family here, they're welcome to snuggle on the couches or even sleep with us in bed. If you prefer your dog to be crated at times, there’s ample space, along with cozy dog beds. Bringing your own bed can also help make your dog feel even more comfortable during their stay. My own dog is fully vaccinated, including for kennel cough, so your dog will be living in a safe environment. If your dog would enjoy a swim in a lake or a mountain walk these are all great options!

Lara was so wonderful with our little girl. She was very warm and welcoming from the moment we met. She was thoughtful and asked questions we hadn’t even thought of. Our little girl got along well with her own dog who was a gentle playmate. Lara sent us pics and videos keeping us informed as to the daily activities and routines. We would highly recommend Lara. :)
Lara was very easy to reach and explain things as it was my first time using this app. We met first and I knew right away she had a sensitive heart for animals. She took care of my cat really well and played with her a little. She made sure the temperature of the house was ok and that she had enough water. Thanks Lara!
Lara loves pets with a passion! She has always had dogs in her life and they are her family. Lara is a long-time dog owner, and gives her pets the best of everything—including what they crave most: attention! She is a very caring and devoted dog owner. Lara is very tender hearted, too, and has been involved in street dog rescue in the Dominican Republic. Whether she is volunteering at a spay/neuter clinics, or tracking down vet care for the injured pet of a disadvantaged family, Lara is there for the well-being of dogs everywhere!

Dates de la garde
Since I am semi-retired and set my own part-time hours, I am available 7 days a week to meet your pet care needs! I am very flexible with pick-up and drop-off times and can even pick-up your pet from as far away as as Montreal or Ottawa.
