Besides having dogs and cats my whole life, I’ve been a part of a local animal rescue for the last 8 years on and off. I have 4 small dogs of my own and I foster. I have experience with chickens and bunnies as well! I am experienced in giving dogs medication. I truly love animals and enjoy having their company.

Lannette was absolutely wonderful! She was very kind, reliable, and kept me updated throughout the entire time. I really appreciated the regular updates and the pictures she sent of Diesel—it gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was happy and well taken care of. She clearly treated him with lots of love and attention, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely use Lannette again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pet!

Schedule
I am currently a stay at home mom, so I am home a majority of the time. We have a large, fenced in back yard so dogs can go in and out as they please and play!

Safety, trust & environment
Our fence is wooden and 6ft tall. Being a small dog owner, it’s been small dog proofed. In general, our doggie guests will have free access of the downstairs area when we are home. They’ll get to cuddle and play as they choose. When going to clients homes, I will make sure they have water/food and hopefully they’ll want to play some ball with me!
Pets
A typical day
A typical day for us is waking up and the first thing we do is let the dogs out for a morning potty break and stretch! They have water bowls inside and out. The rest of the day they go in and out as they please. If we leave for the day they are secured safely in crates or the bedroom for my personal dogs. We have a nice neighborhood to walk around in.

- It’s very important that all dogs are kid friendly. My children are very well-versed in respecting a dogs personal space and love to play fetch with them. I need to know if dogs need medications or if they have certain behaviors to expect like toy or food possessiveness. I do not accept unfixed animals of different sexes at the same time, so it’s important to know if your animal is spayed/neutered.
