I currently work full-time on weekdays as a kennel shift lead, but I’d love to welcome a few furry friends into my schedule! My available hours will vary during weekdays, so please message me to converse more on that topic. I rarely work weekend shifts, so those hours are more flexible! I’m happy to provide love, attention, and care while fitting pets seamlessly into my routine.

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and engaged. I love going on hikes—long or short—playing fetch, or just running around to burn off energy. If your pup is more of a snuggler, I’m just as happy to spend time cuddling or working on puzzle games to keep their mind active. My goal is always to match your pet’s personality and routine so they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

With over seven years of hands-on experience caring for animals, I bring patience, compassion, and expertise to every pet I care for. I’ve spent three years working in a kennel, learning to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments, and I know how to train basic commands. I’m also studying to become a veterinary technician, so I have a growing knowledge of animal health and wellness. I am experienced in administering medications orally, topically, and intramuscularly (IM), ensuring your pet’s treatment is safe and stress-free. Your pet will be cared for with love, attention, and professionalism.

Lani is an absolute angel! She saved a sweet puppy that was about to be put down and needed extra care. She fostered Luka back to health while treating him daily for various ailments. We adopted Luka from her care, and he has flourished into an amazing part of our family, as healthy as could be! She is the epitome of an animal lover and has a huge heart for dogs in need, no matter what the challenge! I could never thank her enough for saving Luka's life! We could never imagine life without him!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lani has been an incredible help to me on numerous occasions at my farm. She’s cared for my horses with such dedication, always going above and beyond and paying attention to the little details that so many others might overlook. She’s often the first to notice if one of my animals is just a little “off,” and she is wonderfully attentive to each of their unique needs. Lani is the kind of person who shows up early, stays late, and treats every animal as if they were her own. Her calm and gentle demeanor has made even my most skittish animals feel at ease with her. She is reliable, responsible, and truly trustworthy—I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with any of my animals, whether it’s my indoor pets or livestock. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their animals!
I honestly don’t know where to start. I’ve known Lani for years and she has not only proven her love for animals but has shown such great compassion and responsibility in taking care of my babies. I owned a horseback riding facility and Lani took care of my horses and barn and I never had to worry about anything. More importantly, I rescued dogs and the love and care that Lani gave to these babies (some who had been terribly abused) went way above and beyond. Lani would be a great asset to Rover and all of the pet parents out there who are looking for caring, compassionate and very responsible person to care for their beloved pets!
