I'm life-long dog lover with 20+ years pet care experience. Ever since attending dog shows at McCormick Place as a kid, I have been a true dog lady (I verge on "Best In Show" levels of ridiculous love for every dog I meet). I provide care and affection to dogs and cats of all ages and sizes with a range of different needs. I'm particularly fond of small breed and senior dogs. I have my own Chihuahua-Shih Tzu-Pekingese mix Martin who loves other dogs and cats (I rescued him from One Tail at a Time - poor guy spent 8 months in shelters so he is super comfortable befriending small and large dogs alike). I'd love to go for walks with your animal friend or stay in and cuddle, whatever he or she prefers. My full attention is on your buddy. I'm more than happy to maintain your pet's routines and schedule and to accommodate any special requests - I've administered insulin and oral medication, assuaged separation anxiety, and I've even cared for a tiny Brussels Griffon who ate scrambled eggs every morning. My goal is to make your dog or cat's care as comfortable, seamless, and loving as possible.

I keep a watchful eye on pets in my care at all times. I can avoid other dogs on walks if needed. If house-sitting, I'm happy to water plants, check mail, tidy up, turn lights on/off, accept deliveries, and more.

Laney was absolutely amazing with my senior Chihuahua, Pixie! My little one can be quite a handful because she’s older, needs special care, and doesn’t always warm up to new people easily. But Laney was incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive from the very beginning. Laney proved her dedication to make sure Pixie and I were comfortable from the start. We chatted during a video call and arranged an in person meet up from there. Laney took the time to understand my Pixie’s unique needs and daily routine. Laney sent me regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear that Laney truly loves animals and has experience with senior pets. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and I will not hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend Laney to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable care!
Laney was fantastic! She had great communication and sent us updates with pictures. She brought Hershey to a place where he could run around and room him for several walks. We will definitely have her watch Hershey again!

Laney was so kind and took great care of Choco...she made him feel right at home. We felt very comfortable with her taking care of him. We'd definitely like to have her look after Choco again.

I can give your pet my full attention at all times! Happy to oblige their needs and give them all of the affection, treats, and specialized care they could possibly need.

- Please share any special needs, schedules/routines, or personality quirks your pet has ahead of time. I am more experienced with small dog breeds but I love to meet all animals and I'm open to learning how to make your pet happy and cozy while you're away.
