I grew up with several dogs and cats, and have been dog/cat-sitting for neighbors and family friends since I was 12. From the age of 16, I began house-sitting as well, and have had found so much joy taking care of others’ houses and pets—and taking advantage of the extra snuggles with all the new animals I get to meet. Currently, I dog/cat/house-sit for my brother about once of month when he travels for work, but I’m looking to meet some new animals to spend time with!

I unfortunately cannot board any pets in my house, but I’ll be sure to follow any steps to ensure safety & routine in your house (locking fences, turning on an alarm, putting your pup in a crate, etc.).

Lane was amazing!!! So kind, quick to communicate and our dogs took to her immediately. I have trouble trusting if our dogs are comfortable or being taken care of to our standards and felt 0 anxiety with Lane watching them. So many pictures of them snuggling & being goofy I knew they were well taken care of! Will 100% use Lane again the future if she’s available.
Lane is an amazing dog-sitter. Not only does my dog love her but she is very trust-worthy and highly responsible. I am very picky with who watches my little Dorothy, there is so much to consider, but Lane has done an exceptional job taking care of not only my home but my dog!

Schedule
I work part-time remotely and spend a lot of time going for walks to clear my mind and look at something other than my laptop—but it’s so much more fun to do this with a furry friend! I have a very flexible work schedule, which means I have lots of time for sporadic breaks and play time. I’m generally available most days, although I’m always gone for several hours on Sunday mornings to go to church.
