I have a fenced in house all the way around my yard and an outside dog kennel inside of my fenced in yard but all animals would stay in my house with the ac on and optional tv or music on so they don’t feel lonely. If they like to try to escape I will gladly walk them on a leash outside to go potty. Play with them and walks given as needed. When I do check ins I can do pretty much whatever clients prefer with good communication.

Please let me know if your animals have any problems or quirks about them or if they need special care I.e. medications that need to be given orally, subcutaneously, intramuscularly, and any tips and tricks on how to give it they way they prefer. I would like to know feeding instructions and things about their daily routine to help them stay on their normal schedule as much as possible.
A typical day
Morning (6:30–9:00 a.m.) * Start with feeding pets according to their schedules. * Take dogs out for their morning walk and bathroom break. * Refresh water bowls and administer any medications if needed. * Clean litter boxes, cages, or other pet living areas. * Send owners a quick update with photos or videos to let them know their pets are happy and doing well. Mid-Morning to Afternoon (9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.) * Visit additional clients’ homes for drop-in care. * Take dogs on longer walks or to a nearby park for exercise. * Play with cats, birds, rabbits, or other pets to provide mental stimulation and companionship. * Keep homes tidy by bringing in mail, watering plants, or adjusting lights if those services are included. * Document feeding times, medications, and any unusual behavior. Late Afternoon to Evening (3:00–8:00 p.m.) * Return for afternoon and evening visits. * Feed pets dinner and provide fresh water. * Take dogs out for another walk and play session. * Spend quality time cuddling, grooming, or training, depending on each pet’s needs. * Send end-of-day updates to owners with photos and notes about how the day went. Night (if staying overnight) * Settle pets into their bedtime routine. * Give any final medications or potty breaks. * Stay overnight to provide companionship and maintain the pets’ normal routine, helping reduce anxiety while their owners are away. The best part of being a professional animal sitter is building trust with both pets and their owners. Every day is different, but it often includes plenty of exercise, fresh air, affectionate animals, and the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping pets stay comfortable and cared for in their own homes. It’s a career that rewards patience, reliability, compassion, and a genuine love for animals.
