Dogs think I’m a Disney princess
You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend!

As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.

Landon has been walking my dog, Ember, for over a year, and I truly couldn't ask for a better person to care for her. Ember is a sweet but sensitive girl, so finding someone she trusts wasn't easy. From the very beginning, Landon was patient, kind, and attentive to her needs, and he quickly earned both her trust and mine. He is reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I always know Ember is in great hands when she's with him, and seeing how excited she gets when he arrives says more than I ever could. As a pet owner, there is no greater peace of mind than knowing your dog is cared for like family. I honestly wouldn't want anyone else walking my girl. I highly recommend Landon to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable pet caregiver.
Landon is a “animal whisperer.” Dogs and cats naturally gravitate towards him, even choosing him over their humans. Recently in a dog-friendly café, a stranger’s dog headed straight to him and fell asleep at his feet! This was not a surprising experience for Landon. Even my difficult (rainbow) Pomeranian loved him. It wasn’t uncommon for my dog and his cat to curl up and sleep together on his lap. I highly recommend Landon as a reliable and trustworthy petsitter.

Zeitplan
My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs.
