Hello! My experience with handling pets spans over 24 years! Both here (Florida) and California. I share, what some might call, an unspoken language with nature (specifically animals). We communicate with the voice of the heart (feeling) which echos through behavior and even intentions. I am fully capable of tailoring to your pets' needs - whether elderly and slow or young and energetic and everything in between - being an active individual myself who is also actively calm. I’m trained and certified by Red Cross in Dog and Cat CPR/First Aide which gives me added confidence in supporting pets safely and responsibly. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care and help pet parents feel at ease while they’re away. When you accept me into your pet's life it then becomes my privileged mission to ensure their, as well as your, well-being, safety and peace of mind. Whether they're big or small, aggressive or sensitive, you can rest assure I won't be overwhelmed or intimidating. Understanding the emotional and biological needs of our four-legged friends I guarantee they'll have my complete and full attention with no excessive multitasking or mobile mindlessness. Last, but certainly not least, your special companion(s) will receive an abundance of genuine love and care. **BOARDING UPDATE** Prior to accepting a new dog into my space it’s imperative that i meet & interact with them both with & without owner’s presence. This is mainly to assure compatibility and house training level. Prices for services are usually set using the following criteria: - type, size and number of animals. - number of hours and types of services requested. - physical, medical, dietary and behavioral requirements of the animals. - demographics and local pricing comparison.

We’re so grateful for the care and love Landis shows in all he does to care for our boy Luthor. From fun activities to stimulate his mind to adventures outside we always know Luthor is in the best hands. Landis isn’t just caring and thoughtful, he is professional, dependable, honest and committed. Our house is always in better shape than we left it and Luthor is always happy and content. I am so thankful for all he does.
We were really happy that Landis was willing to work with Chip’s reactive behavior. After his trial overnight stay, he gave us some behavior modifications to work on at home and some guidance on how we can help Chip improve. He is still willing to keep Chip for our vacation as long as we continue working on his behavior. We truly appreciate his patience, understanding, and willingness to work with Chip. It means a lot to us to have someone who is willing to help him rather than simply give up on him.
Caring, calm, and reassuring, Landis made my dog Kara, and us comfortable for a weekend out of town. We were able to meet ahead of time to make sure everybody knew each other more so. It’s hard to leave your fur kid, very thankful for Landis for treating Kara like family. Definitely will book again!
Landis took excellent care of our dogs and tortoise. We came home to happy pets and a clean home!

Schedule
Being self-employed, I would say that servicing pets and their owners fits perfectly into my routine and schedule. The only minor challenge is my commitment to daily meditations which do require quiet privacy but I've learned to manage.

I ensure that a pet's mental as well as physical health is considered and well monitored throughout my visit so that everyone has a happy and safe experience.
A typical day
Unless I get a sense that they are at ease with me I'll first take a few hours to allow them to gather sufficient information (olfactory, optical, auditory and gustatory) about me to calm them and put them in a receptive mood. Then I usually spend some quality time with them. Next, we'll go for a brief stroll to assess how they behave outdoors and/or interact with surroundings. And then we have fun playing games together to encourage positive interaction and play.
