Pet care experience
Dog, hiking, and nature fanatic :)
I've lived and loved dogs since I was born. When I was in middle school I started helping out at a local daycare and boarding facility, and from there began assisting the trainer. Since high school, I worked at the local doggy daycare and boarding facility caring for every size of dog imaginable. I am experienced in basic doggy first aid and medicine administration. I've lived and trained with livestock guardian breeds, sporting breeds, hounds, and working breeds all my life!

Landen is amazing with pets! We have one dog and two cats. They all love her! Landen babysat our fur babies in our home while we were away on vacation for over a week, as well as multiple other shorter trips. She’s amazing! She sent pictures of the fur fam chilling out with her along with some videos. It’s such a benefit for them to be able to stay together at home, stress free, when we have to be away! (Not to mention the reduced stress on me not having to coordinate at trip to doggy day care.) I absolutely adore her and eventually just gave her a key to our home! She’s not only sweet and loving, she’s very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs and their training. I recommend Landen hands down, no worries!
I have trusted Landen to take care of my 3 dogs numerous times when I’m away. Her confidence around my large dogs is impressive! She has amazing knowledge of dog behavior, and clearly has a lot of experience in training dogs. She’s kind, loving and I can rest easy when I’m away knowing my dogs are in such capable and kind hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to take care of any dogs, large, small, special needs, elderly, young…you name it she can handle it!!

Schedule
I’m a senior at Maine Maritime Academy, and my class schedule is busy but I have many mornings, afternoons, and evenings off. We can definitely make something work!

I am very flexible and can work with your dogs needs! Even if your dog requires PJs before bed time... I can make that happen! Routine is key in dog-lives, so whatever your dog's routine is, I will follow it to the best of my ability.
Pets
A typical day
Depending on your dog, we could be lazy on the couch or go for a hike on the local trail. If your dog likes car rides, we can drive to go hiking, get an ice cream, go to Lowe's, or go on a swim. I especially loooove taking dogs for hikes, as sniffing around in the woods is so mentally stimulating for your dog!
