I am currently working part time and have a lot of free time throughout the day to take your dogs on walks and to the park! I am free throughtout the day and late mornings!

I provide care directly in clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their normal environment and routine. I make sure each dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and care based on their specific needs and energy level. I am able to do dog walks more flexibly. Your dogs safety is always my top concern. I have a lot of leash training with big strong dogs as well as smaller dogs. I will send photo and video updates with your dogs! I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, small breeds, and high-energy working dogs, so I understand the importance of patience, safety, and consistency. I always follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any special care requests to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

A typical day
When I am watching your pets it is always my top concern to make them feel loved and seen! I do this by playing games with them, talking to them, making sure they are fed, groomed and well loved. I think it is importing that all dogs get exercise everyday through walks and running around at parks. It is always important to me to update the owner with photos and videos!

Pet care experience
I have been around animals my whole life!! Dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, cows, fish!! I am very passionate about ensuring your pet are comfortable and stress free! with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I’m very comfortable working with small dogs as well as high-energy working breeds that need extra exercise, attention, and structure. Over the years, I’ve helped care for family, friends’, and neighbors’ pets by feeding, walking, playing with, and checking in on them while they were away. I understand that every dog has different needs, whether it’s patience with an older dog, helping reinforce routines for puppies, or keeping active dogs engaged and exercised. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Landen grew up with dogs and currently has an Australian Sheppard, and a border collie mix (the aussie was her running buddy). She also shows a genuine interest in the well being of animals. Since living in Eugene, she has rescued a rabbit and has called home more once expressing concern for a golden retriever she saw. Landen has shown herself to be very responsible college student: she has an excellent GPA within a challenging major, and dedicates herself to improving in her running while training with the U of O track team. I would not recommend her to work in the context of herd animals: we pet sat for some family friends' small farm. Landen did great with the dogs, cats, reptiles and bird. However, she had trouble working with the goats...they pushed her around. : ) (don't tell her I said so)
