When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I prioritize safety, respect house rules, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and affection. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for while they’re away.

This was my first time using Rover for pet care! We were apprehensive about turning our home and pet over to a stranger while we were away for a week. But after noting LaNaya’s profile, rates and experience level I reached out to her just a few days before our vacation to discuss the prospect and received an immediate response from her. Yes! She’d be happy to care for Kai Kitty during our absence. She came to our home for a pre-sitting visit to meet my 13 year old, house-cat Kai. She made us feel very comfortable with the idea of her coming into our home during our absence to care for my pet kitty. I gave her access codes and instructions on how to do the job. While gone she stuck to our arrangement to visit Kai every other day. She was very kind and caring with Kai ensuring he was fed, his box scooped and any accidents cleaned up. LaNaya entered our home using the assigned access codes and then locked down everything before leaving. In addition to being a great pet sitter, I found LaNaya to be reliable, relatable and well prepared for the job at hand. I trust and highly recommend LaNaya to anyone who has a similar in-home pet care need. Thank you LaNaya!

LaNaya was a wonderful caregiver for my pet. She communicated efficiently with me the entire time my pet was in her career and I appreciated how enthusiastic she was with her care.
My dog absolutely LOVED Lanaya when she would dog sit. My dog is a Yorkshire terrier and he has bad anxiety, so not everybody is able to watch him because he requires alot of attention and patience. She keeps him calm, plays with him, and he trusts her. She always send me picture updates too; which I always loved! (: I would recommend her to watch anyone’s furry bestfriend.
Lanaya was able to watch my dog jazzy last minute and I am so grateful! Jazmine is a energetic German Shepherd mix who loves attention, and Lanaya made sure she had everything she needed—walks, playtime, and updated me with pictures the entire time without me having to ask which I really appreciated. When I got home, Jazmine was happy and playful, which told me she’d been well cared for the entire time!! She was a responsible and caring pet sitter. I’ll definitely trust her with my fur baby in the future. <3
LaNaya is a friend of mine and is a kind, gentle and genuine person. She has actually watched over my dog while I was out of town and she took excellent care! I’d been so nervous to leave my baby but she followed all my instructions, plus more. She was so reassuring and sent me pictures even without me asking! I would most definitely ask her to watch over my dog again!

Schedule
I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, timely walks, playtime, and regular check-ins rather than leaving them alone for long periods.
- CatsLaNaya can host up to 6 drop-ins per day
- I like to know a pet’s routine, energy level, and any special needs ahead of time. It’s also helpful to understand feeding instructions, medications (if any), behavioral quirks, and what helps them feel most comfortable. The more I know upfront, the better I can provide calm, consistent, and personalized care.
