Absolute love for animals!
Dogs have always been a part of my life. I look out for them. I believe exercise is critical. I care about their comfort and nutrition, including constant fresh water! I like to have notes on personalities and habits of the dogs I care for so as to help the animal feel comfortable. I prefer dogs that have been crate trained or trained for healthy habits. A crate is a necessary tool and a dog should feel safe in a crate. If I need to step out for any reason, your dog will be put in a crate for their safety (or your preferred method). Favorite toys and bedding is encouraged. Please know that your dog is safe and cared for while in my supervision. I'm home most of the day with the exception of a few hours(3-3 1/2) so, your dog will have my attention and care! Besides, all dogs need naps, right? :-) Holiday rates will apply to all of my services.

This is the first time we've used Rover for house/pet sitting. Our first choice was Lana. Lana came to meet us and our pets and we felt very comfortable w/ her from the moment we met. She cared about our pets and was interested in their individual needs, likes, and dislikes. We were very comfortable going way w/ Lana here to take care of our fur babies. She kept in touch, sent pictures, and ask questions when needed. She also cleaned up after herself and washed the bedding, towels, and dog blankets before she left. We certainly didn't expect this, but it was GREATLY appreciated! You couldn't tell she was ever here as things were just as we left them. We will DEFINITELY use Lana again if she is available. Thank you so much Lana for letting us have a worry free vacation.
This was our first time with Rover, and our first time leaving our dog with anyone other than our vet's kennel. What a difference!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Lana was, sending us pix and even a video of Loki playing in her yard. The communication was great, Lana's place convenient and lovely, and we were able to relax and enjoy our weekend. Can't say enough good things about the great care that Lana gave our Loki!
Is there an option to give more than 5 stars? Lana is hands down the best experience we've ever had with a dog sitter, on or off Rover! No need to look further. Some dogs have a good "sixth sense" about who are "dog people" and who are not, who is kind and loving toward animals, and our very discerning (read: can be a pill sometimes!) dog took to Lana right away and they bonded instantly. Communication, questions, were all answered promptly and fully. Lana took the time to ask all the right questions with our dog, picked her up on time (and because this was during the pandemic, took all the proper PPE protections, face mask etc.), and even took pictures throughout the day and sent them to us so we knew our Shazi was having a great time. Very highly recommended! Do not hesitate to book!

Schedule
Mostly retired. Why not use my time to care for wonderful animals? I currently have 3 cats. My dogs are gone but not forgotten, r.i.p. ♥
