***Please be sure to fill out your pet's entire profile and please do not ask me to contact you on an external phone number until you have been established as a client ; All initial communication must be through the Rover app or website*** Hi I'm Lana! I am trained in animal care and I have been pet sitting (mostly dogs) for more than 10 years. I think dogs are really special beings and beautiful companions. I enjoy being able to give pet parents peace of mind that their loved ones are being looked after with the utmost care and compassion. I have cared for dogs of various sizes, temperaments and ages. My naturally calm and patient disposition works well with most, especially dogs that may need more time and attention, such as shy dogs or older dogs. I am available for drop-in visits, overnights and walks.

I prefer to care for pets in their own home because it offers them a sense of security during a difficult emotional time while their humans are away. **PLEASE NOTE** I am only offering overnights to existing clients of 4-6 weeks or more, I feel it is important for me and your animal companions to get to know each other before their family goes away.
Ratings and reviews
I have utter confidence in Lana. She is my go-to for when Bean needs walking or a housesit when I need to be away. Most recently I had to leave town suddenly for a family emergency and ended up being away for a week. Knowing that that Lana was in my home looking after Bean provided me great comfort during a very trying time.
Lana has been great with my pup Oakley, she has been doing drop-in visits with him since last fall and he is always super excited to see her walk in the door. This was the first house-sitting/overnight she’s done with him and I think it went great. She gave me updates each day and took him for long walks to help burn off some puppy energy. She also left the house just as clean as when I’d left. 10/10 would recommend!
Very patient
Lana is my go-to person for walking my dog, Bean, and looking after her when I’m traveling. I have utter confidence in Lana and truly appreciate the care she has taken to develop her own relationship with Bean.
Lana is the only person I trust with my animals- she is responsible, communicative and very sweet with them. 10/10 always!
Lana was great with our German shepherd! She was timely and great at communicating.

Schedule
For walks and drop-in visits, I still have space open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are packed. If you have any questions about specific dates and times please feel free to send me a message here on Rover.
