Hey there, I'm Lamia! I'm a lifelong animal lover and have cared for cats, dogs, and rabbits for the past 17 years. I grew up with three cats and two bunnies, and walked my neighbors' dogs daily during summers. I currently help care for my family's 12-year-old sweet but anxious cat, Kiwi, whom I adore. I also petsit for a few friends' pets, either through overnight stays or feedings and check-ins. I have lots of experience with various pet personalities, from rambunctious and energetic to anxious and shy. I am patient with animals, and although I love to cuddle and play with those that require more attention, I also know when they need some space or a little time to warm up. I love meeting new pet friends and am looking forward to getting to know your furry family members and giving them the same care, patience, and affection I would give my own. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime and attention or simply someone to keep them company while you're away, I'd be happy to help!

I want pets to feel as comfortable and safe as possible while their owners are away. When caring for a pet in their home, I follow their usual routines as closely as I can, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner! I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would want someone to show my own, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.

Lamia is the best! She has watched my 2 cats numerous times and they absolutely adore her. She’s attentive, trustworthy, a cat lover, and always sends the best photos of my fur babies. Can’t say enough positive things about her!
Lamia recently sat our cat kiwi while we were on vacation. Not only did she did do a great job in what we got here to do, but she maintained the house exceptionally well on our return. How well did she take care of our home? We had a plumbing leak in our bathroom. Lamia reached out to us urgently, apprised us of the situation and got the situation under control herself. She also got a great deal on a plumber to fix the issue while we were away. Needless to say, if she had not been there we may have had to cut short our vacation to take care of this urgent situation. Kudos Lamia!

Schedule
I have a flexible work from home schedule, so I can always be attentive with your pets! I love taking taking breaks from my work to play with them and make sure they’re comfortable. I also love going on walks or hanging out at parks, I'd be happy to have a buddy to take with me :)
