Hi! We’re a warm and caring couple based in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. We recently lost our beloved 165 lb English Mastiff, Apollo, and though our hearts are still healing, we want to share our love and experience with other dogs through Rover. Caring for dogs has always been a big part of our lives, and we find great joy in keeping them happy, healthy, and loved. We live in a peaceful, pet-friendly neighborhood with a secure, fully fenced garden—perfect for sniffing, stretching, and lounging in the sun. We’re also just minutes away from beautiful Selano Park, Santa Margarita Lake, and Mission Viejo Lake, where we enjoy peaceful walks and outdoor playtime. Whether your dog loves cuddles on the couch, daily walks, or just a calm space to relax, we can provide personalized care and a loving temporary home. Anil (Lalantha) and Irina are a very caring couple that adopted a large mastiff and gave him a wonderful second life. They are now opening their home to the Rover community, all dogs hosted by them will be very well cared for. Your dog will be treated like royalty, I've known Anil for more than 30 years and highly recommend him to look after your dog.
Being a Rover dog sitter myself, I highly recommend Lalantha Anil and Irina as a dog sitters. Lalantha Anil has owned several dogs over the years, both large and small, and truly treats them like family. He even adopted an English mastiff that he cared for lovingly for many years. Right after meeting him, the Mastiff jumped straight into his truck, which says a lot about how naturally dogs trust him. Lalantha Anil and Irina are caring, and very reliable. They understands dogs of all sizes and makes sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to trust them with my own dog.
Anil is super caring and loves animals! He communicates well and is very responsible. His attentive and proactive care helps us feel at ease when he is dog sitting and walking our pup.

Your dog’s safety is our top priority. We have a secure, fully fenced backyard with gates and constant supervision, and because we work from home, your dog is never left alone. Every pup in our care is safe, supervised, and loved in a calm, attentive home environment.
A typical day
A typical day includes morning potty breaks and relaxed time in our secure, fenced yard, followed by walks around the neighborhood or nearby Selano Park and the lakes when weather allows. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time, play, enrichment activities, and quiet rest indoors. Because we work from home, dogs are never left alone and receive constant attention, affection, and companionship. We always follow each dog’s routine and energy level to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy.
