I currently work from home, and easily care for my own dogs and client dogs throughout the day. My dogs have constant access to water, my backyard, a rotation of toys, and lots of attention! While I do have indoor cats, they have a dedicated playroom in my home where they go while client dogs are present.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets in my home are allowed on the couches (and bed), and have access to my dog-proofed yard. Scheduled meals are fed in a separate room from my personal dogs, and I keep different toys and activities readily available. While client dogs can play with my dogs, I also incorporate scheduled separate rest time to prevent overstimulation or exhaustion.

Information Lala C. would like to know about your pet
Prior to accepting dogs into my home, I like to know general likes/dislikes, allergies, medical conditions, any past traumas or behavioral concerns, and veterinary information. As a certified dog trainer and ethical pet care provider, I will absolutely NOT use e-collars, prong collars, choke chains, or any other type of aversive equipment, this is non-negotiable.
A typical day
I provide varied enrichment activities for the dogs under my care. Lickmats, snuffle mats, and over 10 different puzzle toys are in the rotation! Durable "super chewer" toys as well as plush toys are available, and toy shredders are more than welcome! I supervise play with toys, meaning I can allow dogs to shred soft toys, and I remove them once they are no longer safe to play with. I also have beginner’s agility equipment in my yard for supervised play and use (jumps, platforms, tunnels). During the warmer months, I also fill a kitty pool with water for water play! The water is emptied and refilled daily to maintain optimal hygiene.
