Hello, I’m Laken and I’m here to help you with your pet-sitting needs while you’re at work, on vacation, or for whatever reason! I have a wealth of experience caring for animals, including helping my step mom groom dogs, working on a farm with multiple dogs and horses and volunteering at local dog and cat animal shelters. I also have experience working with dogs that have special needs, from medications to wheelchairs. I have a young son who lives with me and who helps raise our two cats, Sherlock and Watson. He is very quiet, respectful and loves dogs and cats. He gives them space and understands boundaries and rules. I’m probably one of the oddest people you’ll ever meet—I’m a social introvert who enjoys camping, being outdoors, riding ATVs, dirt bikes and horses, while also loving video games, baking, reading, computers and attempting to learn how to play the guitar. I love to watch k-dramas, superhero movies, sci-fi and comedy. Above all, I am a major animal lover—I almost enjoy pets more than people! I appreciate their varying personalities and interesting quirks. Caring for pets makes me feel a sense of purpose, especially when I know that I’m making your life easier and I’m happy to help you in whatever way you need. I am nurturing, communicative, trustworthy and intuitive, and I tend to pick up on the needs and sensitivities of others. With that knowledge, I try to accommodate my care so that my client will never worry if their dog is happy. Instead they’ll wonder if their dog is having too much fun as they will most certainly be spoiled rotten while they’re with me! That being said, consistency is important when it comes to pets, so I will be sure to stick to any guidelines you have in terms of your pet’s care.
