A typical day
Fun activities includes fresh, energising walks tailored to your dogs needs whether that’s gentle strolls or adventurous trails through nature reserves, plus games and playtime. However if they’d like to lay in the sun or have a long term lap-nap for however long (my cats do) I’m more than happy to oblige.

Pet care experience
I provide compassionate, attentive care for pets of all ages whilst nurturing playful puppies and kittens. I also support senior pets with gentle, loving routines tailored to their needs. My entire life I have been surrounded by animals big and small, raised at my Grandads farm in Kent, so I’m used to getting mucky on big walks and hiking. It’s a great way to create happy memories and appreciate nature. I have a lot of time and love for animals, I provide as much care as I needed and then more for each furry friend. I currently work in Publishing but as I’m mainly a remote worker, I’m regularly out for walks early mornings and during the day

I couldn’t be happier with the care Laken gave my cat while I was away. From the start, communication was excellent — I always felt reassured with regular updates and photos. My cat can be a little shy with new people, but Laken was so gentle and patient that he quickly warmed up to her. It was clear she genuinely cared, making sure he was not only fed and safe but also had company and affection. I came home to a very happy and relaxed cat (and a tidy house too!). I’d highly recommend Laken to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter. I’ll definitely be booking again.
After having the privilege of knowing her for the best part of 15 years, I can honestly say I couldn’t recommend anyone highly enough to look after and care for my pets than Laken. She is the most dependable and trustworthy person I know, and if I know one thing’s for sure, she wouldn’t be half the woman I know today if it weren’t for her feline and canine companions! Her dearest cat ‘Sootie’ is her entire life and insists they’ve been soul bonded since the day they met. Nobody comes first before her animals is what I’ve come to learn about Laken and it’s so typical of her to begin her professional pet care journey just so that she can get to know yours too! And frankly, I wouldn’t leave my pet in anybody else’s hands but hers. (I’m sure if you asked nicely, she’ll walk your pet for free)
