I'm a caring, active dog lover who works remotely and lives in Chelan. I watch, feed and walk all my furry friends when they come to visit. I have a scenic and spacious yard just minutes from town. I watch small numbers of dogs to have a balance of harmony with my guests.

Marley really enjoyed his stay with Laird. Laird asked all the right questions and appeared genuinely happy to learn more about Marley and welcome Marley into the home. There was another dog there who was more hesitant than my exuberant Marley but Laird was gentle and caring with their introduction and the two dogs did well together. I will definitely use Laird again on my next trip to Chelan.
Very friendly and detail oriented. Has a quiet fenced in back yard for dogs. Felt safe having Laird watch my dog and he provided updates and pictures while I was on my trip so I didn't have to worry at all. Highly Recommended!!
Laird is possibly the nicest guy ever! He took great care of our little Toby, while we vacationed in Chelan. He sent pics, and updates, regularly, and is very good about responding to messages. We will absolutely use him again! Don’t even think twice, leave your fur baby with him, you won’t regret it. 💜🐶🐕

We booked Laird for a second year in a row for 1 day during our annual camping trip to Chelan, so we could take our kids to Slide Waters! Our two 3 year old labs are energetic and kept him on his toes but he was great and greeted us with a smile when we picked them up! We would definitely book him again next year!
Laird was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. He took great care of Rufus while we traveled up the lake to Stehekin.

Schedule
I work remotely from my home in Chelan. I have separate indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate 2 to 4 furry friends while you are away or visiting Chelan. In the busy season, I have an assistant who stays at my home when I have out of town commitments. I take dogs on walks during my breaks and they are often at my side while I am at the computer. I don't have a meeting heavy schedule which allows me to give my visiting pets plenty of attention.

I have a fenced back and side yard that is ground level accessible. I have a separate garage and a large shaded outdoor kennel for dogs that like or need solo space.
A typical day
Since I work from home, your dog(s) will get a a combination of active attention and relaxation. On my work breaks, I routinely walk or jog in the neighborhood and would have your dog join me. We often play in the yard and inside. Most weeknights, I'm home and will be with your dog, playing or cuddling. I occasionally leave for a couple of restaurant shifts per week and arrange coverage from my assistant for dogs that need more one on one attention.

- It helps to know how much social contact and interaction history your dog has with other people and dogs. If your dog has aggressive tendencies or high separation anxiety, this won't likely work for both parties.
