Hi! We’re Lainie and Stephen, and we’ve been caring for dogs for years in our cozy home in Fenton near the Bluffs. We know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone you trust, so we focus on creating a calm, safe, and personalized experience for every pup who stays with us. Our laid-back dog Lucy loves having friends to play with, and we have a large fenced yard for plenty of exercise and outdoor time. We also have experience with senior dogs, administering oral medications, and caring for dogs with special needs. We treat every dog like part of the family and love sending photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog loves playtime, cuddles, or a quieter environment, we do our best to make them feel right at home. 🐾 We live in a fully fenced home with a safe backyard, and both of us work primarily from home, so your dog is rarely left alone and always has attention and care. Our home is perfect for dogs who enjoy play, family interaction, and a predictable routine. We especially love hosting longer stays and repeat guests, giving dogs a comfortable, home-like environment while their families are away. We also have a cat who mostly stays downstairs, so all pets can feel at ease. We can’t wait to welcome your dog into our home and treat them like part of the family!

Lainie and Stephen took amazing care of our Maggie! Our puppy requires a bit of extra attention, and they went above and beyond to ensure she was happy and well cared for. They even surprised her with a Christmas present—such thoughtful and over-the-top care! Highly recommend their services!
Bruce seems to have had a great time and while he was happy to be home with his pack, I think he was in great hands. It’s obvious Lainie and Steve cared for him.

Lainie and Stephan were amazing! They saved me when my booked Rover cancelled on me the day we were headed out of town. They took my pup over Christmas break and even got her a doggie stocking filled with toys! So much appreciated how they took care of my pup.

My husband and I both work primarily from home so your pet would have around the clock care. Weekends and evenings kids are home for playtime!

A typical day
A typical day at our home starts with a morning walk and breakfast, followed by playtime in our fenced-in backyard. During the day, your dog will have plenty of attention from us and our teen kids, along with interactive toys and socialization with our dog Lucy. Midday includes another short walk or play session, and we provide meals and water as needed. In the evening, we have another walk, playtime, and some quiet time to relax. Throughout the day, your dog is supervised and cared for, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.
