As a part-time college student, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to every pet I watch. My classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays until 2 PM, so I am available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, overnight care, and any other pet needs after that time. I am also available for boarding on weekends and can easily accommodate schedule changes or last-minute needs.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with designated potty areas and plenty of safe space for walks and playtime. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while in my care. When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I respect their routines and instructions to keep pets as stress-free as possible. Through my experience in Pre-Veterinary Society, I was properly taught animal handling and crate training techniques, and I am comfortable caring for pets with different needs and personalities. My goal is always to create a safe, positive, and loving environment for every animal.

Pet care experience
I strive to build strong relationships with both pets and their families so everyone feels comfortable and confident while away. I love keeping owners updated with pictures and messages throughout each stay so they always know their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. I have over 7 years of pet sitting experience caring for animals of all ages, from young puppies to senior pets, and have successfully cared for up to 8 animals at one time. During high school, I spent four years in Pre-Veterinary Society where I learned proper animal care, handling, grooming, understanding animal behavior, nurturing puppies, and administering medication. I also volunteered at an animal emergency hospital, which gave me valuable hands-on experience working with animals in many different situations. In addition to cats and dogs, I have experience caring for goats, chickens, and cows. Above everything, I truly love animals and treat every pet like they are part of my own family.

Lainey cared for our pets for the last couple of years. Lainey was very caring to our 3 cats and our dog. I would definitely use Lainey again in the future. We moved to Florida from Louisiana, 4 1/2 years ago with 2 small yorkies and had no one to help us when we were gone too long. We knew no one and didn't want just anyone coming into our house, so I posted an ad on a local Facebook site. Lainey answered that she would love to come met us and our babies. She was a Junior in High School and was in the Veterinary Program there, which isn't easy to be accepted into. She and her Mom came over for a meet and greet and we feel in love with her. She would come let the dogs out, feed them and stay to play with them. She always sent the cutest pictures of our babies while she was there. We used her until she graduated and when she came in from college. She is truly a kind, sweet and compassionate young lady that we truly miss being here to help us out. We 100% recommend her to help out with your fur babies.
