My largest rule is no one unauthorized enters a clients home besides myself. I am a strict follower of the golden rule in peoples homes, as I myself would have reservations with someone in my own that I did not know personally. Because of this, I strive to form real relationships and friendships with my clients in order to build that trust on both ends and require meet and greets and good communication is expected.

I love all breeds and sizes. I do not sit for animals with bite history or human aggression as well as animals with any resource guarding tendencies. With that said, I am experienced with anxious pets and know how to handle them appropriately given full background and instruction.
A typical day
Walks are conducted within the owners neighborhood but we can do field trip walks upon request! I am a big fan of puzzle toys as well as training as means to mental stimulation.

Hello SD fur families! My name is Lainey and I run a boutique pet sitting business out of SLC, UT. My partner is from San Diego and we travel back multiple times per year and are hoping to move back one day soon, so I am looking to start building my client base in the area by offering my services at a steeply discounted rate! Our next visit is March 2-15th and we are looking to fill that time as much as possible! My experience includes employment at Alpine Animal Hospital for 2 years as a boarder care technician and a training vet tech and I have owned my own pet care business for five years now with 5 stars on Google and Facebook and many available references. I love animals and strive to treat every pet I meet like it is my own. I understand the stress and anxiety of having someone else take care of your pet, which is why I started my business! I would want me to take care of my pet because I am confident in my ability to provide a happy, stress free and SAFE experience. I can administer medication, I have experience puppy training and experience with high anxiety animals. I pet sit full time and attend UVU but I am able to move my schedule around based on your needs if given the correct amount of planning. Pets are not left longer than 5-6 hours at a time unless otherwise dictated by the pet parent. Also as a note, my prices are all inclusive, I do not nickel and dime for things like watering plants, getting the mail, basic cleaning, etc.

Lainey house-sat our two dachshunds for a couple nights recently while we were out of town and she was amazing. The dogs loved her immediately. She kept them fed and walked and sent plenty of photos and videos regularly so we could know how things were going. We felt very comfortable leaving them in her care--especially with her past vet experience--and will happily do so again.
Lainey is the perfect best friend for your fur baby! She is the most attentive and caring walker/sitter I've ever used for my two dogs. She has never missed a walk and is always so pleasant to work with! Both of my pups are large, loud, and are still learning not to pull on a leash. This is no problem for her! She is very knowledge about animals and always keeps me in contact when I'm out of town. She's great about sending videos and I always come home to happy, healthy pups! I could not recommend her enough!
Lainey has watched our pug Stella several times and she is always wonderful! Stella is always well taken care of and we know that she is in good hands with Lainey. Along with this, Lainey is one of the sweetest people I have ever met when it comes to animals, and especially dogs. She is extremely attentive and concerned about their safety and wellbeing. If there was a single person I could chose to take care of my best friend, it would be her.
