I’ve been caring for animals since I was a kid, looking after dogs of different sizes and temperaments around my neighborhood. Over the years, I’ve gained additional experience caring for my own pets, including four cats and two dogs. Both of my dogs were adopted at around two months old, requiring significant time and attention to successfully implement potty training and develop behavioral skills. I’m one of the biggest animal lovers I know and am confident I can provide a safe, loving environment for your furry friends, treating them like my own.

I live in a spacious brookline apartment, under 10 minutes away from Grigg’s Park and the Brookline Reservoir. I’d be happy to take pets to the park for some play time alongside many of the other dogs in my local area. Please note, I do not feel comfortable walking any animals without a leash. I also have a small grass area at the front and back of my house where pets can quickly use the bathroom. For cats, there is plenty of space indoors for play and to store items like a litter box, toys, cat tower etc.

Laine was great! She stayed with our very active border collie Boone and took great care of him while we were away. She was very communicative and kept us up to date with photos of him too. Would definitely recommend!
Laine took great care of Chloe during her doggy daycare stay! We really appreciated the chance to meet beforehand, which gave us confidence that Chloe would be in good hands. Laine also kept us updated throughout, and it was clear Chloe had a great time. We’d definitely book with Laine again and highly recommend her!

Schedule
I’m currently working full-time in a hybrid position. On days I work from home (typically tuesday and friday) I have flexibility to make local drop-in visits or take dogs for walks around the area on my lunch break. Additionally, I’m able to adjust my working location to house-sit animals who may require more attention. However, I have the most availability when I’m off the clock all day Saturday and Sunday. This time is ideal for house-sitting, dog walks, drop-in visits and any other pet care needs. Feel free to reach out with any questions about my availability!
