Hello, my name is Laina and I’m so excited to get to know you and your pup! Ki is my partner and we are both available to watch your dog which means we’re basically available 24/7! Since we’re just starting off, we set our rates lower to build out a client base. I’m currently a law student 👩🏽⚖️📚 at University of Miami School of Law 🙌🏾💚🧡 so I have plenty of time to walk and dogsit in between classes and studying, plus it’ll be great to be active with them to get out more! I live with my partner Ki who is an optician 👓 and a personal trainer 💪🏽, is extremely active 🏃🏼, and is so great with animals. Between the two of us, someone is always available to spend time with your loved one, it’s like a two-for-one special! I’ve had pretty much any animal as a pet from hedgehogs 🦔 to horses 🐴 and my soul dog was a rottie, so I have plenty of experience with animals of all sizes. Ki’s family bred chihuahuas and he had a pitbull growing up so he also understand the needs of different breeds. I looked into rover originally to make some extra money to help pay for law school, but I decided to sign-up because of my love for dogs and all animals! Also, I’ve had dogs my entire life up until recently so I miss being around them. I’m young and active so I can take your dogs on walks or runs, yet I’m extremely responsible and trustworthy which will be applicable for drop-in visits and doggy day care. Laina was AMAZING taking care of my baby, Princess. She was very accommodating to mine and Princess’s needs, and kept me updated for the entire week while I was away. I picked up Princess and she was extremely happy, wagging her tail and kissing Laina goodbye. I definitely recommend her to watch your dog, and I would use her again in an instant when I need some help!
Laina was great! She was on time and gave me several updates during her stay. Would definitely use her again to watch my fur babies!
Laina is my dog's favorite sitter, when Laina cares for Izzy she is always calm and happy when we return home. Sometimes I swear she prefers Laina to us, I can never express how relaxed that makes us feel and takes all of the stress out of leaving our pet home. She is very reliable, cheerful and professional! Laina, not the dog! ;)
Laina took care of my dog during the good days—and during one of the most difficult periods of my life, when he was nearing the end. Her compassion & her truly caring efforts, allowed me to work & to have peace of mind that he would be well cared for in my absence. She has a way of building a bond w/our 4-legged members of our family that is simply incredible.

Schedule
I’m currently in law school so I have a relatively flexible schedule to watch after your best friend and can take your pup on a walk whenever they want! Ki goes into work late so between the two of us someone is almost always home to take care of your pup.

Safety, trust & environment
I will make sure to follow your directions very carefully. I believe that your dog’s safety & health is my number one priority so I will do everything in my power to make you feel secured in booking my services. Aside from the safety & health, I believe dogs should have fun in any environment they’re in! I’ll play with them a lot and care for them as if they’re my own puppy!
A typical day
Walking in the park is a great way for your dog to be active and if they want we could go all over town together! I also would love to take your dog to a dog park and play catch with them so they can really enjoy their time.
