I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, so your pet will receive lots of supervision, care, and attention throughout the day. My son also visits regularly during the week, so there is usually someone home for companionship and playtime. I’m available for boarding, walks, and daytime care on both weekdays and weekends. I also live close to several local parks, making it easy to provide regular walks, exercise, and outdoor time for your pet.

Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I live in a clean and cozy 1 bedroom apartment that provides a calm and relaxed home environment. I carefully supervise pets at all times and make sure they feel safe, loved, and included as part of the family. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, routines, and any special care needs. I have experience with puppies, basic training, and different dog personalities, so I can adapt to what makes your pet feel most comfortable. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while your pet is in my care.

Before any booking, I prefer to learn as much as possible about your pet to make sure they’ll feel comfortable and have the best experience in my care. I always appreciate a meet and greet beforehand whenever possible, so I can get to know your dog’s personality, routine, energy level, and especially behaviour around people and other dogs. Please let me know about their daily habits, diet, medical needs, allergies, training, and anything that helps them feel safe and relaxed. The more information you share the better I can provide a calm, happy, and personalized experience for your pet.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, playtime, and care to help your pet feel comfortable and relaxed. I usually start the day with a morning walk and feeding, followed by indoor play and supervised rest time. Since I spend most of my time at home, pets are rarely left alone and always have companionship throughout the day. I also take dogs on regular walks to nearby parks for exercise, fresh air, and social time. I adjust each day based on your pet’s energy level, personality, and routine so they feel as comfortable as possible while staying with me.

I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including puppies needing toilet training and senior dogs needing extra patience and attention. I also hold a behavioural and training handler’s license from Hong Kong. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy who will treat your pet like family. I've had the pleasure of Lai Wa caring for my golden retriever three times now — from when he was still a playful puppy all the way through to the adult dog he is today. Each stay lasted about a week, and every single time she did an outstanding job. Lai Wa is incredibly responsive on WhatsApp and always keeps me updated on my dog's status whenever I check in. She sends tons of photos and videos that make it easy to see he's happy and well cared for. She follows my instructions and preferences to the letter, especially when it comes to meal times and walk schedules. Her flexibility with pickup and drop-off times has been such a huge help, and her warm, friendly personality makes every interaction pleasant. I would not hesitate to book Lai Wa again. She's reliable, attentive, and genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. Highly recommended!
Teresa has helped us look after our Samoyed, Tofu at least three times over the past year. On two occasions Tofu was with Teresa for two weeks and I could tell he loved staying there from the videos that Teresa would send us throughout the day. Teresa is a highly kind, thoughtful and responsible dog sitter who treated Tofu as her own. He was able to maintain his meat and veg diet (no dog food) as Teresa was more than happy to accommodate. We have nothing but praise for Teresa’s care and attention during Tofu’s stay with her and recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter!
Teresa has been absolutely amazing with my dog, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She is incredibly caring, loving and always treats him like her own. I really appreciated the frequent photo and video updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even went the extra mile by cooking him sweet potatoes and homemade food, as my dog is definitely a picky eater! It’s clear how much genuine love and attention she gives to the pets she looks after, and I always know my dog is in the best hands with her.
