I’ve done extensive training with my own dog and can work with your dog while in my care on anything that you’ve already begun working on. I can administer meds as required. My goal is to give your pet the same love and care that you would so not only do they enjoy their stay, but you can enjoy your time away with piece of mind knowing your pup is well cared for.

First time leaving my dogs and first time user of Rover! Lafayette was the perfect host for my two dobies' first stay away from home. He sent updates and pictures which was so reassuring. I know they had a great time with his two sweet dogs as well. Couldn't have asked for a better first time experience!

Lafayette was great! My 2 dogs felt SO comfortable in his care. One of my dogs has anxiety and I absolutely hate having to board him in a kennel because I know he is stressed and hates it. Cooper does so much better in a home environment. I previously had a pet sitter, but she moved! It’s SO hard to find a good sitter! I highly recommend Lafayette and will definitely be using him again in the near future.
Toast loved staying with Lafayette. He kept me updated during the stay and I always felt Toast was in good hands.

Schedule
I currently work 8-5 M-F, but I work only 1 mile away from home. I currently come home in the middle of the day to check on my own dogs and allow them some outdoor playtime and potty break. My 17 year old son is also home during the day and is able to provide additional bathroom breaks and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard and two dogs of my own to keep your dog company. If your pup needs to be crated I also have a large crate in the home already. We take nightly walks around the block for additional exercise and smelling.

We’ll play games in my large yard daily as well as walks in my neighborhood or the park nearby for some new smells and stimulations.
