However, it wasn’t until I adopted my own dog and cat 9 years ago that I gained a newfound appreciation for the unconditional love, comfort and companionship they provide. I have been pet-sitting for family and friends for 10 years. I would love to help care for your pet when you are not able to.

Lacey was so incredibly accommodating with our last minute request to watch our lil guy when we had a friend back out! We were in town for a wedding and needed a sitter! Lacey is so kind and had great communication!! I highly recommend her!! If we are ever in the area again we know who we can trust!
Lacy was great with our cats and helped us with our fish & shrimp as well. Our one cat who’s generally standoffish was great with her which says a lot about how much her kind energy and calm demeanour comes off to even the animals. We will definitely be rebooking with Lacy when we need a pet sitter!
Lacy was absolutely amazing! My pup fell in love with her instantly. This is the first time I have had a house/dog sitter and was a little worried about it but after meeting Lacy and getting to know her a bit every single worry disappeared (For my house and my dog). She took her for walks, to places she has never been and sent pics of their adventures. I will without a doubt be having Lacy back to sit Lake. Thank you so much Lacy!! I can't even tell you how much my family appreciates you!!
I absolutely recommend Lacy as a pet caregiver. My 9 year old border collie loves her auntie Lacy and they’ve always had a special bond. Lacy is caring, active, and empathetic which are all great qualities to have in order to care for a pet.

Schedule
I work full time as a teacher. However, I am available most evenings and weekends. I am also available in July and August and would love to help care for your fur baby.

I am an active pet owner and am well-versed in multiple dog breed needs and personalities. I have a border collie so understand high-energy dogs quite well. I have experience with agility, mental stimulation games, obedience and commands, pet safety and health, walking multiple dogs, crate training and pet medical needs. I also love going for leisurely strolls and just hanging out with pets! I ensure any pet messes are cleaned up in your home as quickly as possible. I will be diligent in caring for your pet the way you require, because they are your baby and deserve the very best.

A typical day
I love to help dogs be happy: whether that be mental stimulation through food puzzles or hide and seek; to physical exercise with a ball or frisbee or simply going for a run with my running leash; to just hanging out. Whatever your dog needs to be happy and content is what I am willing to provide them.
