Comfort-focused pet care 🐾
**We are unfortunately unable to host unfixed dogs in our home for boarding/doggy daycare.** I have grown up with dogs and cats and have spent many years caring for them throughout my life. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. Over the years I’ve learned how different each stage of life can be, from potty training puppies to supporting the slower pace of senior dogs. I’ve also cared for family pets while their owners were out of town, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with dogs of all energy levels. Some love to play and stay active, others just want to relax and be near someone. I’m happy with both. I also have experience with raw feeding routines and daily care. My main focus is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away.

Lacey and her family were so good to Fozzie and it was so nice to know he felt so at home. I’d highly recommend, she checked in regularly and was a great communicator!
Lacy is amazing! She and her daughter are so caring and kindhearted. One of my three dogs has anxiety, however Lacy patience and experience helped my dog greatly. Our family feels so blessed that we found such a great dog sitter!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule as a stay at home mom which allows me to give consistent attention throughout the day. I homeschool my children but I’m still able to fully care for the pets in my home and keep up with walks, drop ins, and boarding. My days are structured in a way that allows me to adjust as needed so each pet gets timely and attentive care.

Pets in my care can enjoy walks in your yard or around your neighborhood depending on what they are comfortable with. We also have a spacious yard that gives dogs plenty of room to move around and stretch their legs. Our home is calm and family oriented. Pets are always supervised and included in daily life. I make sure they feel comfortable, settled, and part of the environment while they are here.

A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s personality and energy level. Some dogs are ready to play and enjoy time in the yard with fetch or supervised activity. Others prefer something slower like lounging nearby or relaxing throughout the day. I adjust naturally to what each pet needs. Some days are more active and some are quiet and calm. My goal is always the same though, making sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and at ease while they are with me.

- Any information you can share about your pet ahead of time really helps me provide the best care possible. I like getting to know each pet before they arrive so I can make things feel familiar and easy for them. Helpful things to know include how they walk on a leash, whether they pull or stay calm, how they do with new people or new places, if they have separation anxiety, and what their normal feeding routine looks like. Every pet is different and the more I understand about them the better I can adjust to their needs.
