I like to find out if they take any medications or have special needs, whether they are kid-friendly, and if they require extra exercise to burn off energy. It’s also helpful to know if they are shy or nervous around new people, so I can approach them in a way that makes them feel safe and comfortable.
A typical day
When caring for pets, I love to keep them active, happy, and engaged with a mix of fun activities. We’ll go for long walks to get fresh air and exercise, play fetch to burn off energy and bond, and spend time people watching in safe outdoor spots for a bit of calm stimulation. I’ll also incorporate puzzles and brain games to challenge their minds and keep them entertained. This way, they get a balance of physical activity, mental enrichment, and plenty of companionship.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and genuine love for both dogs and cats. I currently work with dogs regularly and have four cats and one dog of my own. I’ve also spent time as a foster for cats, so I’m familiar with a wide range of personalities and special needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, and providing lots of individualized attention and affection. Whether it’s playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking to special routines, I’m dedicated to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away

Lacey has been taking care of animals since since she was 5 years old her aunt fostered cats and over the years Lacey has cared for and nurtured over 500 cats including sick rescues. She volunteered at a animal rescue when she was 11 and worked there until she joined the navy when she was 19 to help fund vet school
