An attentive, loving carer and friend for your dog
Having grown up with pets my attentiveness to a dog’s needs comes very naturally. I really enjoy a dog’s company and care about understanding their unique personalities and requirements. We sadly no longer have a dog of our own so your dog will receive all of the love and attention. My partner is at home full time and I take bookings as much as possible in my hybrid role. We live in a beautiful, quiet area with a large garden. I have particular experience caring for senior dogs; giving supplements, cleaning eyes, applying creams and I’m very familiar with the softer handling that older and small dogs often need. I live with my partner who is also confident caring for animals and can’t walk past a dog without saying hello! He too will be available most of the time at home should any extra attention, love or care be needed! He is very willing and protective.

Lacey is just a wonderful dog sitter and both Charlie and Milly are always really happy to stay with her. Charlie in particular can be a little uncertain going anywhere different, but he pulled me to the door when I was dropping him off - and the photos and updates shared just showed both being very settled. Thanks as always for taking such great care of them
Lacey cared for our new rescue pup brilliantly, and was really sensitive to her needs. Thank you Lacey, would absolutely recommend and hope pup can come again.
Django had a lovely time staying with Lacey and I felt so reassured the whole time he was there. Lacey is incredibly conscientious and gave Django lots of fuss and sent me some pictures over the weekend. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will use her again when we need a dog sitter.
I booked doggy daycare with Lacey last minute as a result of a trip nearby. Lacey was responsive and was able to take Margot at short notice. Lacey kept me updated with how Margot was getting on throughout the day. I would highly recommend!

Lacey was really great with Luna. Immediately made us feel at ease, and was happy to accommodate things like medication. Would definitely let Luna stay with her again.

Schedule
I aim to be as accommodating as possible when it comes to drop off and pick up times. I can work from home and my partner is always available as well to meet your dogs schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large, gated garden and dogs will be supervised whenever outside of the house. Dogs are welcome to roam in our home and will never be confined to one room or space. We invite them to sit on laps or sofas and chairs if that’s what they are used to! We are also able to create a quiet zone for your dog if this is what they would prefer. Meet and greets are very important to me to ensure you and your dog are comfortable with our home and garden set up. I’ll make note of any specifics and am keen to learn what “normal” behaviours your dog has so I can be sure they are settled whenever they stay with us.
A typical day
My typical day is a gentle wake up and cup of tea in the morning. If Im working from home Ill be flexible where your dog could be beside me and be let in and out to the garden as frequently as required. My partner also likes to do the play time part! At lunch time I’d be happy to take dogs for a walk if needed.
