I'm working from home for what seems like the rest of eternity and work is very slow. Plus I am currently living alone. This leaves me with looooots of free time to check in on your babies. I'm also a very avid walker (one of my favorite hobbies) so you never have to worry about your best friend(s) getting a long enough walk. Trust me, with me they definitely will.

I've got a couple of cats who are OBSESSED with trying to get outside and grew up with a dog who was a bolter. I am a PRO at blocking the door when coming and going to prevent an escape! I always leash dogs (and cats, if they like to go for a walk too). I've also got a car, a dog seatbelt, and carriers of varying sizes so in the unlikely event that catastrophe falls and a vet trip is needed, I've got that covered as well!

Pet care experience
I've had dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have one sweet old lady doggo and way too many cats (plus fosters and an outdoor colony that I guess has decided I am their mom now). I also have three chickens and four bee hives! I've got experience with special needs animals (both vision and hearing impaired) and diapering your incontinent friends. I'm also a pilling magician, do pretty dang well with trimming cat nails (but not dogs), can usually muzzle a dog, and I have lots of experience giving subcutaneous injections to both cats and dogs (if your buddy has diabetes or needs fluids, I've got ya covered!). I'm also happy to take care of your chickens and reptiles (and have experience with both). I can even water your plants (I have a HUGE garden) and bring in your mail! In addition to neighborhood walks, I am open to taking your BFFs on adventure walks to the river, dog park, or anywhere else they love to go! One last thing, I'm low key obsessed with taking pet pictures (seriously, searching my phone for animal pictures returns over 22,000 results) so you'll get tons of pictures, don't worry!

Lacey is a fantastic pet sitter. She has been helping me take care of my pets when I’m away for years. Lacey is knowledgeable, responsible, and reliable when it comes to pet sitting. She always ensures my pets have the basics covered, like having enough food and water. But she also takes the time to interact and play with our pets as well. She knows when an animal needs something and how to make sure they get it! Once, I even saw her take a friend’s dog she was petsitting to the dog park for over an hour because she could tell the dog needed to run around for awhile! (A LOT of excess energy built up while the puppy’s parents were out of town.) Lacey is also very experienced in administering medications to pets including insulin shots for our diabetic cat. I highly recommend Lacey as a pet sitter. Your furry family member will be in great hands!
Lacey took care of my Bearded Dragon, Daisy, and my plants for over a week. Everything was still alive and super healthy when I got back into town. It’s pretty evident that she’s a big animal lover, especially since Daisy loves her so much!
