Hey! I'm Lacey and I live in the Virginia Beach/Knotts Island area. I'm an Air Force Veteran and have my Bachelors and Masters Degree. I have an immense passion for animals. The amount of unconditional love they have for others, and the feeling I have when I am around them makes my day ten fold. I work for the government, but on my off time I thought about what I would like to do. But honestly - what better way than to “work” on my off time than by doing what makes me happy - being around amazing animals and helping people out! I have taken care of my cousin's dog for a few years while he moved out of the county, in addition to my own pups, Atticus, who is 3 and Cope, who's a year old - time FLIES! I have also taken care of my families two doggos, have volunteered at the SPCA in my old hometown, and helped out with my friends animals when they were traveling and needing some help. I also had a childhood cat, Ripley, that I loved very much and took primary care of when I found out he had cancer, up until he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I have experience in dogs who are reactive on walks, and reactive to strangers in their home. I look forward to helping you and your fur babies out! I treat each animal as if they are my own. I know how taxing and selective it can be to trust someone with your fur baby. Rest assured - I can be the one to ease your troubles! I understand communication is key for a positive working environment and let you know where me and your fur babies are every step of the way.
