I’ve been house sitting since I was 16 and have cared for all kinds of pets over the years; from dogs and cats to fish and turtles. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to whatever makes them feel most comfortable. I work part-time in Carleton Place, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, or last-minute bookings. I can easily travel throughout Carleton Place, Stittsville, Kanata, and the surrounding area. I’m someone who genuinely respects other people’s homes. I’ll treat your pets like my own, keep your home clean and cared for, and always leave it the way I’d hope someone would leave mine. Count on me for long walks, playtime, belly rubs, keeping up with feeding schedules, medication (if needed), and making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.

I know pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions closely, give your pets lots of love and attention, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also treat your home with respect, keep it clean, and send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing everything is in good hands. I have a dog-friendly vehicle and would be happy to take your pup on little adventures with your permission! This could include a trip to the Starbucks drive-thru for a Puppuccino, a visit to a local park, or a doggy playdate if your dog enjoys socializing. Every outing is tailored to your dog’s personality and comfort level. Adventure add-ons are available for an additional charge.

Lacey has been doing weekly walks and check-ins with my high-energy Australian Shepherd, and I truly couldn't ask for better care. He has a complex personality and can be particular, but Lacey has taken the time to really understand his preferences, routines, and quirks. It's obvious how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. My dog is beyond excited every time she arrives, which says everything about the bond they've built. After every outing, she makes sure he's cleaned up before bringing him back into the house, and she always sends photos and updates while I'm at work. Those little check-ins give me so much peace of mind and brighten my day. I trust Lacey completely with my dog and my home. Her reliability, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals are unmatched. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for exceptional dog walking or pet sitting services.
Lacey Harris is a responsible and caring individual. She has come by my house to “save the day” and give my little dog a walk on last-minute notice. She has also been gracious enough to take my dog for week long vacations where I would get unprompted updates from her about my dog. I knew my little pet was in very capable and kind hands. Lacey herself has a dog and she has taken such good care of this little puppy. I don't hesitate one bit to recommend Lacey as a caregiver for any dog. Schedule
I work part-time in Carleton Place, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available for morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight care, and I’m happy to help with planned trips, regular visits, or last-minute bookings whenever I’m available.

Please also let me know about any commands they know, leash habits, favorite toys or treats, and anything that helps them feel safe and comfortable. The more I know, the better I can make their time with me fun, stress-free, and feel just like home!
