I love getting to know new animals!
I've grown up with dogs my whole life and started caring for my neighbor's pets of all kinds (dogs, cats, snakes, guinea pigs...) starting at 10 years old and continuing until I left for college at 19. Since then I've interned in animal care at a zoo working with zebras, birds and reptiles, at an animal rehabilitation center with native birds and rodents, and have worked as a dog handler at multiple pet boarding facilities! I love spending time with all animals, enjoying their quirks and unique personalities. I also have experience with basic training and reinforcement for puppies, working with elderly dogs who are slow moving or require medication, and dogs who have suffered abuse and need a little extra patience and kindness.

As a dog owner and professional dog handler I've seen my fair share of craziness animals can get themselves into, and therefore I'm very vigilant of objects and situations that could prove dangerous. I act quickly in the case of an emergency for the well-being of your fur baby because I'd want the same done for my pet.

Lacey took care of our 12 year old labradoodle and our 23 year old African Gray parrot for 9 days while we traveled . She visited 3 times a day. In the morning and evening, she fed them and at noon she walked our labradoodle. Lacey is extremely dependable and arrived the same time each day. She took care of everything we asked her to do and even more. When we returned, the house was in order and clean and the pets were happy! We’re super pleased that we found Lacey and will definitely be her repeat customers!

Schedule
Pet sitting is currently my occupation so I have lots of flexibility when it comes to what care you need for your pets. Whether that’s multiple visits per day, long term pet sitting or routine walks I’m here to work with you to make sure your pet gets the care they deserve!
