A typical day
My favorite activity with dogs is walking, going to the dog park, throwing the ball, and teaching good doggy manners and tricks. I also enjoy giving belly rubs for good boys and girls!

Pet care experience
While I was in the Marine Corps, I worked closely with K9 for a short time. I trained my chocolate lab to be a certified service dog and he did that for nearly 5 years before he passed away. I currently have a GSD that I walk 2x a day, obedience training in the morning, and mental stimulation with puzzle toys in the afternoon. I just love dogs. I also like cats. I pet-sat a cat for 3 whole months while the owner was away for work. I have a GSD so I am more than used to going on walks, throwing balls, teaching new tricks and manners, and having fur all over me!

Kyra rocks! And that’s honestly all there is to it. She was a fantastic dog sitter for our little Havanese pup on multiple occasions. I think her extensive work with animals in the military has equipped her with skills and knowledge your average sitter/walker simply won’t have. She’s just hands down the best!
Kyra was beyond heaven sent as a house pet sitter. She took on EVERY one of my tasks as I had to leave home for 3 months. I have 1 cat and have chickens as well. From litter box, to cuddles, to feed/water, treats (when deserved), she did it all! All while taking care of her own dog! She is one of my best friends but her traveling to help in such a time was such a huge blessing. When she returned, my cat was so lonely without her and her doggo. She has the heart for caring for and nurturing animals.
Kyra took amazing care of our new hyper puppy. She treated her with patience and consistency. After 1 week, our puppy followed the “sit”, “stay”, and “lay down” commands because of Kyra’s expert knowledge working with dogs. She gave us amazing tips on how to continue training our puppy. We would highly recommend Kyra to take care of your pet’s needs.
