Petsitting is my focus so I have pretty open availability to care for your pet on a schedule that works for you! I will sometimes have sporadic commitments pop up, but I will always add them to my calendar and communicate about them.

I offer care in your home, so I’ll come for drop in visits. I can pop by whenever I’m needed as I have my own car. I make it my goal not to cause any disruptions in your home, and I will only stay for the time you need to take care of your cat. I always make sure everything is where it’s supposed to go when I leave and that the home is fully locked and as secure as I left it.

If your cat needs any medicine or extra care for themselves or their environment, please let me know! I’ve given my cat medicine both orally and with food, but I don’t have experience with anything like feline diabetes or asthma which would need injections, inhalers, etc.
A typical day
I will make sure your cat is fed correctly and on the right schedule. If your cat is very playful, we’ll play as much as possible! If not, I’ll try to play with them as much as they’re willing to in order to get some exercise (if you’d like, of course). I’ll hang out with your cat and give them attention by spending time together, petting them, and brushing them. I’ll also clean out the litter box when needed. Additionally, I have experience walking cats with a harness because my cat is harness trained. If your cat already uses a harness/leash and you’d like them to go for monitored walks, I can do that too!

I’ve lived with and cared for cats for years! Growing up, I took care of my family cat, an orange Tabby named Klaus, until I moved down to Atlanta. I adopted my own kitty named Astoria in 2024, she’s the sweet little calico on my profile. I love taking care of cats and I’ve been professionally pet sitting for three years! I’m very good with lots of different personalities and temperaments. Both of my cats are rescues, so it took them awhile to open up and get comfortable with new people. So I understand what different kind of cats need and how to approach and build trust with them. My first cat is a little bit lazy, so I know how to coax cats into some exercise if needed. My first cat is also harness trained, so if your cat already uses a harness/leash, then I can take them for walks!

Kyra is excellent for drop-in cat visits. She's timely, consistent and very dependable. I enjoy reading her Rover cards after each visit and seeing the photos of my happy cat on his back or getting rubs on his head. I feel lucky when Kyra's available for booking when I plan to leave town for multiple days. 🐈🥰
Kyra always does such a great job of checking in and taking care of our two cats. One has to take medication twice daily and Kyra always does a great job of making sure he has that. She loves on both cats and always gives updates on how they’re doing.
Leaving my cats is always extremely hard for me because they truly are my babies, and our cat sitter made the entire experience so much easier and more comfortable. She spent quality time with Millie and Remi every visit, sent the sweetest updates and photos, and genuinely cared about them like they were her own. You can tell immediately when someone is an actual animal person, and both of my cats warmed up to her so quickly. She followed every instruction perfectly, kept everything clean and organized, and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I was able to actually enjoy my trip knowing my babies were safe, loved, and well cared for. My moody cat even let her touch her a few times and didn’t hiss at her which is rare. I seriously cannot recommend her enough and will absolutely be using her again in the future. 🤍
Kyra is simply the best! I have no worries when she cares for my furbabies. They love her (and are great judges of character, btw).
