I've known Kyra since birth and she was raised with pets. Starting with Willow, our grey tabby, she was immediately drawn to her and wanted to be with her constantly. As she grew, Kyra started pet sitting for neighbors. She walked several neighborhood dogs, fed cats, changed their litter and brought joy and enthusiasm to them all. Kyra' affection for one neighborhood cat led to that cat adopting us as his surrogate family. Roger became a fixture in our home as he sought refuge that he didn't get with his owners and their home full of animals. This bond led to the owner gifting Roger to Kyra as hers when they moved. The bond was official. Roger brought much love for years and heartbreak when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. During this time, Kyra continued her work and love of the neighborhood animals. She was particularly adept at knowing every pet by name as they came into view. I know Kyra to be thoughtful and considerate in her actions and dutiful in meeting her obligations both at home and work. I also know that she is very excited for the opportunity to work with local owners and their pets.
