Pet care experience
Across my entire life, I've had a mixture of animals from dogs and cats too exotics and horses. There's not a species that I won't help. I also have a triple distinction star in a level 3 animal care and management course, plus placement experience in veterinary practices whilst I was doing my college course. I was also a volunteer at a horse riding school (they also have a kennels and cattery for when people go on holiday) for roughly 12 to 13 years. Got to know the yards riding schools dogs whom was absolutely lovely. Most of the dogs I've had have been rescues/rehomes and some with behavioural issues that I've managed to help get through (this includes one of my current dogs that is a rescue). All of my cats that I have had and currently got, have been rescues/rehomes. Been lovely to watch my dogs grow up with the cats and see the relationships between them bloom. They all see each other as one big happy family, a beautiful pack. Ive had 2 of my dogs since they were 16 and 13 weeks old, done all the training myself. I will be the first to admit that they're not perfect but I've had so many comments on how well behaved and how well trained they are so I've done something right. My doberman was the hardest as like many dobermans, shes stubborn headed so with her I've had to be firm where my rottie cross has always been laid back and quite easy. However, due to what they are, I've had to have a strict training regime and a strict routine for their sake and others, especially since both breeds have had a bad reputation. My rescue is my youngest and he's been with me since he was 9months. With him, I've had to be a bit more gentle with the training (I hope that's the right word to use, trying to state that I've not been as strict). Because of that, he's come on leaps and bounds in 6 months, anxiety has improved drastically. The help and confidence of my other 2 dog's has contributed towards his training and anxiety.
About Kyra G.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
My friend has a fenced in garden that mine use, can't get out of her garden and are able to play: but, the backs of mine is more like a field than a garden so they are kept on leads unless we're playing fetch. They are fed half raw meat half dry food, raw meat has normally got supplements, fruit veg and pasta/rice/sweat potatoes mixed in. Dry food is free fed (topped up when empty) and water down 24/7. Treats are normally fruit/veg or natural treats, I've got one dog with allergies that I need to accommodate too. If I know the routine and all the information required to looking after someone else's pet, I am able to accommodate to their specific needs.

Information Kyra G. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about things like specific behaviours they have as well as things like allergies or any other medical needs so I can cater for their needs adequately.
A typical day
Walks along the beach, parks and woods. Try to do different games like fetch. Use snuffle bowls often, have to work for a treat so we go over basics and other tricks. Have a hoola hoop for the dogs as one of mine likes to jump so we're learning to jump through the hoop.

Availability
Currently not working, so my dogs and cats are with me all day. Dog walks once or twice a day most days, play time on days we don't go for walks, visits to friends so they get to see their besties. Clean as and when necessary, toilet time in the garden when they need to go, bed time is whenever we feel like going. If it's treat time, it's usually a natural treat or fruit/veg
