I’ve had dogs since I was a child, but really became a “dog person“ when I adopted my first dog as an adult. With him, and all of his needs as a rescue, I learned how to work with dogs and be a good pack leader. I love to play with dogs and see them happy. And that makes me happy!

Kyra was very sensitive and attentive to Barry’s needs. She sent photos, reviewed his time with her and expressed her interest in having hime stay again. Of course Barry was excited when I arrived, yet, was calm and confident as we left and headed home. I will definitely request Kyra again!

Schedule
I work for home most of the week, so I am available throughout the day to interact with the dogs in my care. I only take dogs when I can be at home.

Safety, trust & environment
I only take dogs that are friendly with other dogs, since I have a six year old doodle of my own. There will be lots of time to run around in my fenced yard during the day, at least one neighborhood walk while I take a break from work, and most days Rowan and I head out to either walk on one of the regional trails or play frisbee in the park
Pets
A typical day
I work at home, so I’m here on my computer or calls, and in between interact with the dogs. There are lots of toys to play with. I love working with dogs on the commands they know and new ones, too! Based on your dog’s food restrictions, we also have kongs and dental chews here for dogs that need to chew. We always take a walk around the neighborhood at least once a day, and my dog Rowan is always up for some play.
