Kyra’s Pet Services
Dedicated to my passion and adoration for animal care, I became a professional pet sitter in the summer of 2021... though I have been caring for animals practically my entire life! I have grown up in a household that has always had multiple pets, especially cats and dogs. I also previously worked in a pet shop in Texas, so I have a lot of experience caring for various animals! I am originally from the Cambridge/Hertfordshire area but I permanently moved to Bournemouth in 2021. Ever since, I have been providing loyal and loving pet care and services to the area and beyond. I pride myself on my patience, kindness and competence — and my clients would agree. It’s why so many of them use my services on a regular basis. Remember, no job is too big or too small for me to handle, so please get in touch. I can’t wait to start looking after your precious pets! Before my stay at your home, I always look to schedule a meeting a couple days before hand to meet the animals, talk through your pets daily routine, tour the house, etc! Before my stay at your home, or your pets stay in mine, I always look to schedule a meeting a couple days before hand to meet the animals, talk through your pets daily routine, tour the house, etc!

Kyra does a great job of caring for our cat, and we love the variety of photos and interactions she does to keep her stimulated when we’re away.
I hate writing a negative review however the sit we had with Kyra recently was a disaster. It should have been for two weeks. First of all she didn’t ask if it was ok for her boyfriend to stay. I would have said yes, however it is only polite to ask. That’s not the worst of it though. A kind neighbour alerted me to my dogs not sounding happy, after checking my doorbell camera (to try and hear them) I noticed that Kyra had been leaving my dogs for up to 8 hours at a time. She had booked other sits whilst she was supposed to be with my dogs. Twice she left my dogs on their own all day and one of those days she pinned my back door open leaving my house unsecured (she was honest about that and told me herself). Because I was without option I agreed for Kyra to continue with the sit as she had assured me she wouldn’t leave my dogs for longer than 3 hours and had no further sits booked. Unfortunately, this wasn’t true. She did have another day sit booked and to avoid leaving my dogs all day again, she arranged for her boyfriends sister to go to my house. I agreed because I wasn’t able to make alternative arrangements short notice. As soon as my sister was able to stay at mine I asked Kyra to leave as all trust was lost. I paid a lot of money for it to be a very disappointing experience, that ruined my holiday. I hope Kyra has learned from this. I know I have.
Kyra is an absolute gem💎 She’s looked after our Coco 🐈⬛ 😉 twice and did a great job!!! Thank You Kyra❤️
Kyra looked after my dog Rudy for 4 days while I was away and looked after him very well, taking him on adventures, I've come home to a happy and healthy dog. Will be using her services again. Thank you
Kyra cared for our cat, Luna, whilst we’ve been away for a few weeks. It was great to get updates with photos whilst we were away and pleased to see Kyra spent some quality time with Luna, not just popping in and performing basic tasks!
Kyra was reliable and respectful - however, she should perhaps be aware that most people these days have home security cameras and mine proved she was dishonest about the time spent with my cat - on not one occasion did she stay for 30 minutes - and for that reason I will not be using her services again
