Every Cat Has Their Own Way
Cats have been a big part of my life for over 20 years. My own beloved cat lived to the age of 20, giving me valuable experience caring for a senior cat with patience, compassion, and close attention to their changing needs. I understand that every cat has a different personality — some are playful and social, while others need more time and space to feel comfortable. I respect each cat's boundaries and allow them to settle in at their own pace. I have experience with daily cat care, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, monitoring behaviour and appetite, and maintaining familiar routines to help cats feel safe and relaxed.
Safety, trust & environment
Your cat will stay in a quiet, smoke-free home designed to provide a calm and secure environment. I do not have children or other pets at home, allowing your cat to enjoy a peaceful and predictable space without the stress of unfamiliar animals or a busy household. Each guest has access to a dedicated private room where they can relax, rest, and settle in at their own pace. For the safety and comfort of every cat, I only accept bookings from one household at a time. This allows me to provide personalised care and give each cat my full attention. I take the time to understand each cat's individual needs and carefully follow the owner's instructions, including feeding requirements, litter box preferences, and any special care requests. I will provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured knowing your cat is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you are away.

Our family was moving country and needed time in settle in the new place before flying our 16-year-old cat Fei Jai over. Kylie took such great care of him for a few months at her home, where she also had another cat of her own. She was so loving and patient even with administering medication at times... We could not have asked for a more caring person for our dear Fei Jai, he was in such good company despite not being 100% healthy then.

Schedule
I work from home part-time, so your cat will rarely be left alone for long periods. My daily routine allows me to provide regular attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I will follow your cat's usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, playtime, rest periods, and any special requirements. I understand that cats feel more comfortable when their familiar habits are maintained.
