When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and prioritize their normal routine so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. At this time, I am not boarding dogs in my home. For cat boarding, however, I provide a calm, indoor-focused environment where safety and supervision are always the priority.

I like to know ahead of time about any health issues pets experience, things to be careful about, and any behavioral triggers for them. I also like to know what they love doing the most, and how they typically like to interact with people!
A typical day
I like to keep pets engaged in ways that match their personality and energy level! For dogs, that can include walks at their pace where they’re free to sniff and explore, especially in quieter neighborhoods or natural areas like parks and trails when appropriate, as well as outdoor play. With cats, I enjoy interactive play, and like using simple enrichment activities like bird or nature videos for stimulation, especially for indoor cats. I’m just as happy with active play as I am with calm companionship and snuggle time, depending on what each pet enjoys. My approach is always to follow the pet’s lead and adjust to their mood and energy level!

Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals and currently care for four cats, so pet care has always been a big part of my daily life! Over the years, I’ve also helped neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting, and volunteered with animal shelters, which have given me hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and temperaments. I especially enjoy working with cats and have experience with all ages and backgrounds, including cats with specific medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with administering oral and injectable medications, and I’m very attentive to routine, comfort, and stress levels, especially for anxious pets. In addition to cat care, I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. Currently, I am most familiar with Labs and Doodles, but have experience walking dogs of different sizes (including puppies!) and breeds through pet sitting and helping neighbors, and I’m confident handling structured walks and daily care routines.
