Pet care experience
Pre-vet student who loves ALL PETS!
As a pre-vet student studying biology with an environmental science minor, I bring both a deep passion and an academic understanding of animal care. What sets me apart is my experience with a wide range of animals-not just dogs and cats, but also reptiles and amphibians. I currently own a snake, frog, cats, and dogs. So I’m very comfortable caring for animals with different needs and temperament. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and know how to handle everything from energetic pups to older dogs who need a gentle approach whether it’s daily walks, feeding routine routines, or recognizing when something feels “off”. I am attentive, calm, and committed to treating every pet like they’re my own.

Thank you for taking care of our dog and home we greatly appreciate it hard work and effort we will definitely book with you again and would highly recommend you

Kylie has so much patience for my anxious dog. She worked with her for a bit to gain her trust and was able to take her for a walk. She quickly picked up on my dog’s cues and respects her boundaries.

Kylie is an awesome, reliable house and dog sitter. We came home to a happy dog and a clean house. I recommend Kylie for your pet-sitting needs!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
Pet care fits into my routine as a part-time commitment alongside school. I’m currently a student, so my weekdays can vary, but I’m happy to discuss availability in advance to find what works best. I’m mostly available on weekends, and since I live nearby, I have some flexibility to adjust my schedule when needed. I always aim to communicate clearly and make time for meet-ups or check-ins so everything runs smoothly for you and your pet.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a clients, safety interests are always my top priorities. In my home, I make sure the environment is calm, clean, and pet provided-no harmful items within reach, secure spaces for rest, and plenty of supervise playtime. I keep a consistent routine with feeding, potty breaks, and walks, so pets felt comfortable and settled. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their care instructions exactly and keep their pet routines as normal as possible. I take time to learn the pet body language and comfort zones, especially with shy or anxious animals. I also make sure to update owners regularly with photos and messages so they feel confident their pets is happy and safe while they’re away.

A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of play, attention, and fresh air! I live just a mile from the beach, with trails and a dog park right next-door, so daily walks and outdoor adventures are a big part of the routine. Depending on the pets energy level and personality, we might go on a relaxing nature, walk, play fetch at the park, or just enjoy a slow stroll with lots of sniff breaks :)! When we’re back home, I make sure pets have a time to rest, get belly rubs, and enjoy safe, indoor playtime. I also include enrichment activities like dog safe toys, some simple cozy cuddle time, as well as in a personal bed for relaxation for the dogs that’s kept up and cleaned per visit. A Taylor each day based on the pets needs-whether that means extra outdoor time for energetic pups or quiet company for shy or older pets. My goal is to keep every pet feeling happy, safe, and loved while with me.
