Safety, trust & environment

1. Leash on outside. Whether it’s a 6ft handheld leash or a 50ft long line, your pet will be tethered at all times outdoors to ensure we do not lose them. 2. I am highly trained in force free handling as well as defensive handling should things go south. 3. I utilize a least-intrusive-minimally-aversive handling technique to create the most positive experience for your pet and to facilitate trust.

Information Kylie G. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know ahead of time if: • your pet needs medical care during my visit • your pet deals with reactivity (barks, fixates, stares, or pulls towards people/animals) • your pet may have accidents I am happy to accept bookings with pets that need extra attention and handling, but I need to know ahead of time so I can bring the proper resources with me and interact with the pet appropriately.

A typical day

House Sitting - includes a minimum of 3 “working walks,” treats, poop bags, photo updates, basic housekeeping, physical exam, structured play groups (multi-pet bookings), frozen enrichment (summer bookings), and optional add-on grooming services. Walks - minimum of 10 minutes weather permitting, maximum 30 minutes. Leash, poop bags, treats, water bowl provided. The first walk or two will focus on bonding with the dog and making them feel safe. I cannot work with a dog if they have no relationship with me. Once the dog feels comfortable around me, we will start working walks. Drop In Visits - 20 to 45 minutes. Includes a walk/litter scoop and necessary feeding, watering, medication administration, enrichment. Due to drop ins being short in length in nature, add-on grooming services cannot be accommodated for this type of booking. A working walk consists of utilizing gentle pressure + release techniques as well as positive reinforcement to improve leash manners and handler engagement. After a few sessions utilizing this technique and once the dog has sufficiently sniffed the environment and pottied, they are given the full length of the 6ft leash to enrich themselves and explore the environment. Once they reach the end of the leash, the dog is conditioned to turn around and return to the handler. This gives them the freedom to explore within reason while maintaining control and stability. Grooming services can be added onto house calls starting at $45. I am able to offer baths, ear cleaning, nail trims, teeth brushing, gland expression, haircuts, and more in your own bathroom! I also supply everything but the water and electricity. Dogs are priced on a case by case basis, so feel free to message me! Grooming is not available to cats at this time. Other species will be addressed on a case by case basis. Special offer!! Mention “bio groom” and get a free ear cleaning, nail trim, and teeth brush on your first house sitting booking! A $25 value!

I highly recommend Ky as a pet sitter and dog walker. Ky is kind, dependable, and genuinely loves animals. They are patient, attentive, and take the time to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Ky is responsible, communicates well, and can be trusted to follow instructions carefully while treating every pet as if it were their own. I would feel completely comfortable leaving my pets in Ky’s care and know they would receive plenty of attention, affection, and excellent care. I have no doubt that any pet parent who chooses Ky through Rover will have a positive experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet caregiver.
