I was a dog mom to a white GSD mix for 10 years, and grew up with a variety of 4 legged pets (in all shapes & sizes). Dogs: I am comfortable bathing, trimming nails & fur between paw pads. I'm used to coming up with creative meal solutions, sticking to a feeding schedule, having pups (& cats) with sensitive stomachs. I did agility training with my dog, use hand signs as well as voice commands. I have had to give shots and pills to pets over the years - we had a dog with diabetes; allergy pills for my pup were delivered orally. I'm comfortable taking dogs for hikes, runs, swims, car rides, and walks. I'm comfortable and experienced with other pets as well - cats, bunnies, lizards/geckos, fish, etc.

Kylie loves dogs - animals. She has watched our dogs for several years and is always responsible, responsive and trustworthy. When she pet sits, he takes them for walks with out having to be asked, plays with them and treats them like we do - with lots and lots of love. We know without a doubt that when we are away, they are being loved, cared for and treated very well. We highly recommend Kylie.
Kylie is absolutely fantastic with dogs, she's taken care of my dog for me a few times and he's always come home absolutely tuckered out from all the fun he has at her house! She's very responsible and cares about my dog like he's her own! would definitely recommend her as a dog sitter for Rover. she's one of the few people I trust to look after my dog!

Schedule
During the summer I work from home Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday's are generally very open. If boarding at the house, I am able to do potty breaks and walks between students. For pets staying in my home = no to pee pads. Early mornings aren't an issue. If you're looking for a long-term arrangement that's great! Short-term/last minute? I hope I can help!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced in backyard. 3 out of the 4 yards around me have dogs, one of which keeps them on a leash in addition to the fence. Rooms/areas pets are not allowed in are closed off, but for the most part pets have free range of the house & of the furniture. There is a dog park nearby my house, in addition to the spacious backyard, and a nature preserve close by as well. There are plenty of squirrels to chase in the yard.

A typical day
Access to a large fenced in back yard. Neighborhood and nature trail walks/runs. Toy/play time. Cuddle time if your pet is a cuddler. Scheduled meal times for those who are on a schedule.
